What is it?
HP Click is an easy-to-use job-submittal tool designed for people with low-volume printing needs, who want
to print reliably. It is ideal for a broad range of graphics and technical applications including posters, roll-up
banners, info-graphic presentations, maps, and CAD documents.
With HP Click printing software, in one click you can print the most common formats (like PDF, JPEG, TIFF, and
HP-GL/2 files). Enjoy real-print previews, driverless and multi-page/multi-file PDF printing, and optimized
media usage with features like automatic nesting.
System requirements
• Supported Oss for Windows: Microsoft Windows 7 or later (32- or 64-bit)
• Supported Oss for Mac: Mac OS X 10.10 or later
• Ensure that your computer is connected to the same subnet as your printers.
• Ensure that your computer and printers are able to communicate through the 8080, 8085,
8086, 9100, 9102 TCP, and 161 UDP ports.
How to install it
For new HP Click users and for current HP Click users (HP Click v2.1 or earlier):
1. Download HP Click from the HP Official Site > HP Customer Support > Software and Driver Downloads,
from this link.
a. Enter your HP product name, product number or serial number; please ensure that your printer is
mentioned in the table above of supported printers.
b. Click the Find button.
2. Your printer model should appear in the next window and your Operating System should be
automatically detected; if not please change it manually.
3. Select:
i. Software > Click the + button
ii. HP Click > Download
iii. The downloading process should start immediately
v. The installation process should start immediately. Please follow the installation instructions
until the installation has completed.
HP Click includes, by default, an auto-update feature that allows end users to stay up to date with the latest
release of HP Click.
