CHIVHU SOCIAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE

CONSTITUTION

WHEREAS there are football loving people around Chivhu who would
otherwise be excelling in the sport of football had it not been for lack of
resources and exposure.

AND WHEREAS the sport of football besides the competitions and


prestige, it has a positive effect on the mental abilities and a way of
uniting people may benefit them.

AND WHEREAS people need to talk about things that affects them in the
society like drug and substance abuse concerned Community members
hereby form a social football league named CHIVHU SOCIAL FOOTBALL
LEAGUE to assist with uniting people thereby creating an environment
for socialising, have a positive talk and, help expose them to
competitions and support them in any way possible to fulfil their
maximum potential.

1. NAME

The name of the league shall be CHIVHU SOCIAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE and the meetings of
the Committee and performing of league activities shall be at the time and place in the discretion of the
Committee.
2 CHIVHU SOCIAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE
(hereinafter called the League) shall have the legal status of universitas with its own separate legal
persona distinct from that of its members, with perpetual succession and the right to sue or be sued in
its own name capable to acquire own and dispose of property and rights to property.

3. MEMBERSHIP

Although having the name CHIVHU SOCIAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE has a biased towards the
people living in Chivhu, the name of the league shall not be construed to exclude the people who are
not staying in Chivhu but meets the requirements for membership. Members of the league shall be
required to pay a joining fee. The amounts for joining fee shall be at the determined by the Committee
and at its discretion changed from time to time.Members of the league shall be any football league who
meets the league requirements.

4. SPONSORSHIP
CHIVHU SOCIAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE is free and open to work with any cooperate,
business entity or individuals who mighty be willing to help in any form of assistance ( cash, football kits,
soccer balls, transport just to mention a few). Willing members involved is sponsorship will widen the
marketing strategy of business as they can showcase fresh trends and have opportunities to put their
name on board and catch people's eyes.

5.AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

Chivhu social Football league (CSL) is a non profit making league which focuses on fostering
community building through bringing people together, creating a sense of belonging among fans,
players and teams.

- promoting physical activity by encouraging people to engage in regular exercise and healthy lifestyle.

- Encouraging teamwork, collaboration fostering inclusivity and diversity.

- fighting against drug and substance abuse.

- Fun ,enjoyment, entertainment and excitement enhancing overall well-being.


6. RULES, REGULATIONS AND GUIDELINES

- Each club should have a unique name

- Clubs are obliged to pay affiliation fee of a certain amount stipulated by the Board.

- Registration of players not more that thirty (30) per team. Each team to have a player register and
team cards to be produced before the match.

- (2) division two (D2) players allowed per team( not mandatory)and players to indicated on team card.

- Each team to play according to the fixture, respectful of dates and time. Teams that delay up to 4:30
can be decided to be a match over and also teams that fail to field required players on field. If teams
agrees to adjust , they should communicate with their representatives who then talk to the Boards
immediately before the match commences.

- Each team must have a match ball, whistle to avoid inconveniences.

7. TEAMS and PLAYER CONDUCT

Any form of violence is not tolerated in the CSL ei; throwing of objects, hurt speech, fighting among any
indecency that my propel negative emotions amongst the teams. Punitive measures like suspension,
banning , fines among teams or players found guilty are going to be implored.

8. APPEALS AND COMPLAINS


Teams are expected to launch their grievances within a period of 2 days and appeals to be accompanied
by a refundable fee five ($5) if they win their case.

9. On Field decisions
Teams to abide by FIFA rules that is cards and cautionary for discipline of players.

10. Referees
Each team to appoint a member who is better equipped or qualified to officiate the match and this
member should be also highlighted on the player register. Home teams to pay USD $3{five} to the
referee at the end of the match

11. Registration fee


Each team to pay USD $35 as affiliation. Note: the league commences after all teams have meet the
required amount.

12. Finance

The treasury will be the custodian of the CSL finances under oath, record and affidavit.(Provided for
public interests). Financial records are kept or retrieved at any point of interest where necessary.

13 Disbursement of funds

The CSL Board decides when relevant, the usage of funds depending on the nature of circumstances
that arises.

Prices to be won at the end of the season shall be given to respective teams ( position 1,2&3) on
or day after league tournament ends.

14. Cessation of members


When a team cease to be a member of CSL, proper channel is taken by the Boards to allow smooth exit
of the team upholding the social matra. Note that affiliation fee is nonrefundable.

Given this, teams should put in mind that the CSL is not for profit or making money but a reflection of
solidarity within corporate community, providing a spaces of connectivity among people in Chivhu as
well as bring Unity hence SOCIAL ASPECT is brought fourth.
