Supported 99 teachers in arts high school serving 800 students. Managed instruction and curriculum across all academic disciplines.
Built effective relationships with elementary and secondary math teachers. Managed operation of benchmark assessments, data analysis,
and evaluation.
• Collaborated with teacher team to increase number of students proficient in literacy and mathematics.
• Collaborated with leadership team to increase achievement on HSPA to 90% in literacy and 62% in math; in 2014 the district’s
No. 1 open enrollment high school.
• Collaborated with leadership team to increase four-year graduation rate from 51% to 69% over two years through implementation
of targeted intervention system.
• Collaborated with leadership team to become school to successful accreditation by Middle States Association with two areas of
recognition for excellence.
• Collaborated with leadership team to become school to recognition as a Model School in the Arts by the NJ Arts Education
Partnership.
• Contributed to the development of EPS curriculum and assessments
• Developed math department assessment program that includes formative assessment tools and district-instituted benchmarks
• Administered daily observations of math teachers aimed at improving curriculum implementation
• Coordinated PLC activities, including analyses of student work, reviews of student assessment results, and discussion of strategies
