    FINISHED MEASUREMENTS NEEDLES


    10”x16” US 6 (4 mm) straight or circular needles,
    or size to obtain gauge
    YARN
    Knit Picks Dishie (100% Cotton; 190 NOTIONS
    yards/100g): Yarn Needle
    Soft Colorway: Chestnut 25791(Stripe
    GAUGE
    color B), Linen 25400, Crème Brulee
    23 sts and 28 rows = 4” in St st, blocked.
    25404, Flamingo 25407 and Honeydew
    25410, 1 ball each.
    Ocean Colorway: Swan 25409 (Stripe
    color B), Kenai 25788, Azure 25412, Blue
    25787, Jalapeno 25785, 1 ball each.
    Dish Towels Break B and continue working from Stitch Pattern for 9”, ending
    after a WS row. Attach B and work stripe pattern again.
    Notes:
    Break B and work in Stitch Pattern for 2.5”, ending after a RS row.
    Simple kitchen towels feature a thick texture and stripes.
    BO all sts.
    Chestnut is the stripe color for each towel. For color ‘A’, use one

    of the other colors for each towel.
    Weave in ends, wash and block.
    Stitch Pattern
    Row 1 (RS): K1, *YO, K2, pass YO over 2 knitted sts*, rep between
    *s to last st, K1.
    Rows 2 and 4: Purl.
    Row 3: K2, *YO, K2, pass YO over 2 knitted sts*, rep between *s to
    last st, K2.

    Directions
    With color A, cast on 60 sts. Work in stitch pattern for 2.5”,
    ending after a WS row. On the next (RS) row, attach B and work
    stripe pattern:

    With B, work 2 rows in Stockinette st. With A, work 2 rows in


    Stockinette st. With B, work 2 rows in Stockinette st.
