The GATE / GPAT qualified and eligible candidates of 2022, 2023 and 2024, and TG
PGECET-2024 qualified and eligible candidates are informed to attend TG PGEC / TG
PGECET Web Based Counseling for admission to M.E./ M. Tech./ M. Arch / M. Pharmacy/
Pharm. D (P.B.) programs for the academic year 2024-2025 following the instructions given
below and as per the schedule given:
Candidates are hereby informed that they should satisfy the admission rules
prescribed in the related G.O. MS. No.153 besides satisfying the eligibility criteria of
the respective universities and should be prepared to pay the tuition fee as
applicable.
The leftover seats after allotment for GATE / GPAT candidates are only available for
TG PGECET candidates.
This notification itself is a call for web counseling. No separate call letters are sent to
the individual candidates.
Mere attending of the web counseling does not guarantee a seat in any college.
All candidates are required to register online at http://pgecetadm.tsche.ac.in from
30th July, 2024 to 09th August, 2024 and furnish all information in the application
form. All the entries should be correct, and the candidates are solely responsible for
any incorrect entry. All the candidates have to pay non-refundable Processing Fee
₹.1,200.00 (Rupees: One thousand two hundred only) and ₹.600.00 (Rupees: Six
hundred only) in case of (SC/ST Candidates) towards Registration cum Verification
process which has to be paid through online payment (Credit / Debit Cards / Internet
Banking) in favour of ‘Secretary, TGCHE’.

b. Eligibility:
1. The candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
2. The candidate should belong to the State of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.
3. The candidate should satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as laid down
in the regulations of admission. (Ref. G.O. Ms.No.153 dated 22-08-2007)
4. Candidate should have passed the qualifying examination and secured not less
than 50% marks (45% in case of reserved categories) for Engineering including
Technology courses and as Pharmacy Council of India 55% (50% in case of
reserved categories) for M. Pharmacy and Pharm-D (P.B.).
Note: Scanned Document should be in JPEG format and size should not exceed 500 KB
Certificates to be uploaded at the time of Registration and filling application form
The GATE / GPAT / TG PGECET qualified, eligible candidates must scan and upload all
original certificates for verification. The candidates shall upload scanned copies of the
following Original Certificates for verification.
1. GATE / GPAT Score card / TG PGECET Rank Card.
2. Original Degree Certificate / Provisional Certificate (PC) & Consolidate
Memorandum Marks(CMM) of qualifying Examination.
3. Intermediate/Diploma/10+2 Certificate.
4. SSC pass certificate or its Equivalent for proof of Date of Birth.
5. Bonafide (Study) certificates from Class IX to Graduation.
6. Residence certificate for preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination i.e.
Graduation in respect of candidates who have private study without any
institutionalized education (Distance / Open education mode).
7. Integrated community (Caste) certificate issued by the competent authority in
case of BC/SC/ST candidates issued after 02.06.2014, if applicable.
8. Latest Income Certificate on or after 01.01.2024, if applicable.

9. Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Reservation (applicable only to OC
candidates. Candidates should produce EWS Certificate issued by MRO/ Tahsildar
valid for the year 2024-25.
10. In respect of non-local candidates to consider them for allotment under
unreserved seats the following certificates needs to be submitted:
Residence Certificate: Candidates who has resided in the State of
Telangana/Andhra Pradesh for a total period of 10 years excluding periods of
study outside the State; or either of whose parents have resided in the State of
Telangana/Andhra Pradesh for a total period of 10 years excluding periods of
employment outside the State.

Employer Certificate: Candidates who are children of parents who are in the
employment of the State of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh or Central Government,
Public Sector Corporations, Local bodies, Universities and other similar Quasi
Public Institutions within the State of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh at the time of
applying for GATE/GPAT/TG PGECET- 2024 examination.

Candidate who are spouses of those in the employment in the State of
Telangana/Andhra Pradesh or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations,
Local bodies, Universities and Educational Institutions recognized by the Govt. or
University or Other Competent authority and similar Quasi Govt. Institutions
within the State of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh at the time of applying for
GATE/GPAT/TG PGECET- 2024) examination.

12. The Muslim and Christian Minority Candidates should upload the “TC” of the SSC
containing Minority status (or) in the absence of TC, a Certificate mentioning
minority status issued by the Head of the Institution in which the student
studied/appeared for SSC or its equivalent examination.
Note:* Any false or incorrect information furnished in the online application form and
subsequently detected at any stage of the admissions process will render the
admission of the candidate null and void.
* The Convener reserves the right to cancel the admission of the candidates at any
stage if / when it is detected that admission is against the rules.
d. Special Category:
Certificates to be produced by PH / CAP / NCC / Sports (SG) categories: The following
original certificates whichever is applicable are to be scanned and uploaded.

1. PH-Certificate issued by District Medical Board. Candidates with 40% and above
disability are only eligible.
2. CAP (Children of Armed Forces Personnel): Candidates whose parents are
domiciled in the State of Telangana based on the permanent address/home town
declared by them while joining the service and as recorded in their Service
Register are alone eligible to be considered under “CAP” Category.
a. Children of Armed Forces (CAP) 2% (two percent) for the children of armed
persons i.e., Ex-Servicemen, Defence Personnel including the Children of
Border Security Force and Central Reserve Police Force who are Domiciled in
Telangana State based on the Permanent address/ Home town declared by
them while joining the service and as recorded in their Service Register.
b. The Ex-Servicemen have to produce the Children of Armed Forces Personnel
(CAP) certificate issued by respective Regional Sainik Welfare Officer as per
Appendix-"A" Attached with supporting documents to establish the
Permanent address/ Home town declared by Ex-Servicemen while joining
the service and as recorded in their Service Register in accordance with GO,
such as Certificate from Records Office, Education Certificates of Ex-
Servicemen, etc.
c. Serving Defense Personnel including CRPF and BSF Personnel should submit
a Children of Armed Forces Personnel (CAP) certificate issued by unit
Commanding officer (not less than the rank of a Colonel/ equivalent in Navy
and Air Force Commandant in CRPF/BSF) as per Appendix- "B" Attached
along with original and attested copy of Service Register where the Permanent
address/ Home town declared by them while joining the service is mentioned
along with the education certificates of the Serving Defense personnel.
d. The retired CRPF and BSF Personnel have to produce the Children of Armed
Forces Personnel (CAP) certificate issued by their respective competent
authority as per Appendix-A along with supporting documents to establish the
Permanent address/ Hometown declared by them while joining the service
and as recorded in their Service Register in accordance with GO, such as
Certificate from Records Office, Education Certificates of CRPF/BSF personnel,
etc.
3. NCC - Certificates issued by competent authorities.
4. Sports (SG) – Sports Achievements / Testimonials along with the Form- I, II, III &
IV (formats provided in the website) duly certified / attested by the Concerned
State Sports Associations recognized by the SATS which are categorized
according to level of the Championships as laid down in G.O. Ms. No. 02, Youth
Advancement, Tourism & Culture (Sports) Department, dated: 22-09-2020, which
are essential during Scrutiny.
Note: The candidate seeking admission under special categories (NCC / CAP /
PH / Sports) must appear in person (physically present) for verification

before the relevant competent authority and are required to bring the
following certificates for the support of verification along with relevant special
category original certificate.
(i) Degree/Provisional Certificate & Consolidate Memorandum of Marks (CMM) of
qualifying Examination.
(ii) 10+2 / Intermediate/Diploma Certificate and memorandum of marks.
(iii) SSC Pass Memo or its Equivalent for proof of Date of Birth.

5. The principals are directed to fill up the management quota of seats in their
respective colleges by issuing a separate notification in the leading daily
Newspapers and following TGCHE guidelines. Candidates should be admitted as
per admission rules in vogue. The details of the seats filled under “Management
Quota” shall be communicated to the “Telangana State Council of Higher
Education (TGCHE)” for necessary approval and ratification.
