Introduction: The spread of diseases can be impacted by various factors like

hygiene, access to clean water, and sanitation. A Disease Outbreak Index (DOI)
can be used to represent the severity of a disease outbreak in a particular region.
The DOI would also range from 0 to 500, with higher values indicating a more
serious outbreak.

Data: The following table shows the average annual DOI for a particular
disease in five different regions (Region A, Region B, Region C, Region D, and
Region E) over a five-year period (2019-2023).

DOI DOI DOI DOI DOI

Region
(2019) (2020) (2021) (2022) (2023)

Region A 220 150 180 195 250

Region B 310 285 290 300 325

Region C 105 80 92 110 120

Region D 180 140 165 172 190

Region E 350 330 345 360 375

Questions:

1. Calculate the average DOI for all regions across the five years.
2. Find the difference in DOI between Region A in 2019 and Region A in 2020.
3. Determine the ratio of the DOI in Region C in 2023 to the DOI in Region E in 2020.
4. Arrange the DOIs for each region in 2023 from lowest to highest.
5. Create a bar graph to visualize the average annual DOI for each region across the five
years.
