Essay 1: Water shortage

Because of explosion of global population, water is becoming such a challenging resource that it
can be inadequate to provide human in the future. Some people think that sea can supply
endless water to human however

As the global population grows, fresh water is becoming such an increasingly challenging
resource that it is predicted to be inadequate to provide all people in future. This essay will
illustrate several reasons contributing to this problem and the innovative solutions that will
help tackle our water crisis.
The first and foremost reason is
To commence with, the main cause of this phenomenon lies in human activities. Humans are
unable to access clean water due to pollution created by themselves. For instance, nowadays,
more and more harmful waste has been discharged into water by industrial factories. In
addition, the extensive use of fertilizers or pesticide in agriculture poses a serious risk to the
underground water. Besides pollution, water wastage not only wastes this valuable resource
but also consumes lots of government’s fund due to huge treatment expenditure.
Discharge chemical waste into rivers and oceans
Making this source of water unsusable
Growing pollution leads to global warming and climate change which poses a serious impact on
the annual precipitation. Some regions of the world receive a limited amount of rainfall
Together with constant droughts, water scarity is unvoidable
Limited
Another primary cause is climate change and global warming, which leads to several devasting
results. Unfortunately, some regions of the world have received a limited amount of annual
precipitation, of which the consequence is constant droughts. In contrast, some regions have
experienced more extreme floods or heavy rains, which can damage the water infrastructure
and contaminate the clean water.

Beyond these difficulties, more and more effort should be adopted by both governments and
individuals. Such a phenomenon could, to some extent, be tackled by raising public awareness
about the importance of water. Moreover, stricter regulations and severe financial penalties for
companies should be imposed to warn and force them take responsibilities more seriously.

In conclusion, water shortage has been a significantly concerned problem for many years. Being
more conservative and sustainable with water usage is the key to address the current water
situation that the world is facing. So that, the world at large can have a more sustainable future.

Have to take responsibilities to protect .. a part of our life.

Encourage especially natural water resources
Accuse the one makes the water polluted
1. What did our government do to protect water?
Honestly I’m not an expert in this field. But as far as I know, the city’s authority has
made much effort in water preservation. However, everything remained
unchanged/unimproved
The way I see the public awareness plays indispensable role in this effort

Essay 2: more than half of the world’s population now lives in urban areas. The rapid growth of
cities in some parts of the world is bringing all kinds of social, economic, and environmental
problems.

The more the world population has grown, the more our economies have become
industrialized. As a result, more and more people move to big cities to seek for more
opportunities for their life. However, this situation has posed several kinds of social, economic,
and environmental risks on our life. This essay will illustrate these problems and investigate
efficient solutions to tackle this crisis.

To commence with, intensive urban growth can lead to greater poverty. Admittedly, urban
areas are ambitious places where many people seek promise jobs and prosperity. However,
high costs of living and bloody competition for jobs can trap them in poverty. If the urbanization
grows quickly without good plan, there will be a tendency to increase discrimination, violence
and crime rate. Moreover, modern people nowadays place higher values on physical
appearance, which creates social inequality between the haves and the have nots.

Another primary consequence of rapid urbanization is the pollution, which poses an extreme
devasting risk on the Earth. The more human population is, the more energy is consumed,
which leads to greater pollution in air, water and soil. Levels of pollution in some cities have
reached crisis point and threatened health of people living and working in the worst-affected
areas.

Finally, one dilemma for economic due to rapid urbanization is the inflation. The fast
development in urban areas leads to an imbalance in supply and demand which makes people
spend more money to own their thing they need. Needless to say, living cost in big cities are so
expensive for dwellers, especially the underprivileged to afford.
In sum, to tackle this crisis, more and more effort should be adopted by governments. The
provision of financial support and good control in urbanization is the key to exacerbate beyond
risks. To some extend, the problem could be tackled by imposing polices to promote living
standards and job creation in rural areas.
