FIRST ACT
Narrator: Many years ago, in a far away village in the East, Aladdin lived with his mother a young
boy called. Aladdin, used to take a walk every afternoon by the Persian market.
Narrator: One day, as Aladdin walked there, he felt steps behind him and, before starting to run,
the figure of a man who surprised him:
Uncle Salim: −I am your uncle Salim and your father was my brother. Take me to your mother.
Narrator: That evening, they dined together in Aladdin's House. And, the next morning, they
undertook a long way on the back of beautiful camels.
Narrator: They traveled until it got dark, they rested all that night. And, at dawn, they stepped up
to a dark and gloomy cave, which made the boy's legs tremble.
Uncle Salim: − come and bring me the lamp which is located at the end of the road!
Aladdin: − what I get in return?
Uncle Salim: − will give a good reward. Enter already! (He pushes it in).
Inside the cave
Aladdin: − Oh! The Lamp!... uncle Salim! I found the lamp!
Uncle Salim: − do you have the lamp? Give it to me, through it in this crack!
Aladdin: − only I will give it you, if you let me out of here!
Uncle Salim: − if I don’t have first the lamp, you will be locked up forever!
Aladdin: (falls to his knees) - have fallen into a trap! I'm lost! (He begins to cry and with her tears
wet the lamp that is on its knees).
Aladdin: − Oh! I'm getting wet the lamp!... I am going to wipe it with my handkerchief! (She rubs
the lamp with his handkerchief and it comes from a white concert).
Aladdin: − what? Who are you...?
Genius: − you are my master. Ask me anything you want and I will grant it to you! (Aladdin is left
looking speechless). (From the bottom appears Jafar).
Narrator: In those moments Jafar, the Adviser to the Sultan, watched the situation...
(Aladdin and the uncle Salim leave scene, Jafar becomes the Center and says only and in a loud
voice, with malignant attitude).
Jafar: I need that lamp, to become the new Sultan and be the most powerful in the world!
SECOND ACT
Narrator: Since the appearance of the genie of the lamp, not anything missed Aladdin and it grew
full of riches with his mother in a House that had been granted a genius. One day, while walking on
his magic carpet, he met the Princess jasmine, daughter of sultan Amulbudur.
(The student representing Aladdin appears sitting on a magic carpet, with a special on their
clothing effect).
(Both are moving in opposite directions and cross).
Aladdin: − have never seen a more beautiful woman! − How I wish to be my wife!
Princess: − who is that young man that look at me? − I would like to meet you!
(Aladdin is surprisingly close to the Princess).
Princess: who are you?... and why you come to me in that way, perhaps you don’t know who I
am...
Aladdin: Only I know who will become... my future wife.
Princess: Are you crazy... my father the Sultan will never leave me to marry with someone like you.
(Removed).
Inside the House of Aladdin.
(The mother of Aladdin appears).
Mother: − my son, where were you?
Aladdin: − Oh, mother! I think I just meet the woman of my dreams!
Mother: − in good time, my son! But... do I know who is the lucky?
Aladdin: − if he could marry her...! I be the lucky one! It is... nothing more and nothing less than...
the daughter of Sultan Amulbudur.
Mother: − you're in love the Princess Jasmine? But... that's impossible! The Sultan not will pamper
you!. But I'll take these jewels will go to see the Sultan and ask him the hand of his daughter for
you!
The Interior of the Palace of the Sultan.
(Appears on the Sultan, seated on a pillow next to the Princess. Announces the arrival of the
mother of Aladdin in the Palace).
Mother of Aladdin: −I am here and I bow to you asking you the hand of your daughter Jasmine for
my son Aladdin who, in his love offering, has sent these precious stones to the beautiful maiden.
Sultan: − only permit this marriage if your child gives my daughter a Palace of marble and precious
stones, facing my own... unless they pass over three days, from this moment!
Princess: But father, Aladdin is a good guy and will be a good husband...
Sultan: What you say girl! Perhaps already it has conquered you?... a Princess can not marry any
man, this should be wonth for a Princess.
Princess: what you say father.
Sultan: And not complied with what I've ordered, you must marry Jafar, my Royal Adviser.
THIRD ACT
Inside the House of Aladdin.
Aladdin: (think voice high.) −He only consent that wedding if I give you a Palace... precious
stones... and... (He begins to rub the lamp when it is interrupted by Jafar yelling).
Jafar: Give me this lamp... their powers may not be in the hands of a fool like you... only I am
deserving of such powers.
(They start to fight for the lamp, Aladdin manages to break out of Jafar, and it is laying on the
ground).
Aladdin: − wonderful lamp...! I ask you to help me once again! Please! To appear! To appear! ... I
need it!
(He continues rubbing the lamp).
(Appears genius turning on itself).
Genius: − you are my master! Ask me anything you want and I will grant it to you!
Aladdin: Get this man disappears, not kill him but send it where he can´t do anything wrong.
Genius: your desires are orders for me.
Jafar: (screaming and disappearing from scene) will come back and I will revengeeeeee!
Aladdin: −Thankyou... and forgive me! I do not know how to ask you also this! This time it's
jasmine...! − The daughter of Sultan...! I want to marry her!
Genius: −I can only give you the place where you live and what you need but I can not bring to
you the Princess!
Aladdin: − is that... his father only consent that I marry her if I give a Palace opposite his made of
marble and gemstones...! In addition, this has to happen before within three days and this is said
in yesterday...!
Genius: − your wish will be granted!
(The Sultan appears and stays looking construction very surprised).
Narrator: Two days after, Sultan was open-mouthed to observe front his balcony a splendid palace
more beautiful than he had imagined and did not hesitate to give the hand of his beloved
daughter jasmine to the owner of this wonder. A few days later, held the wedding who both
wanted.
Sultan: what great Palace of marble and gemstones!! Congratulations to the bride.
All: and so ends this fantasy tale..., this story is over and we hope that you liked!
