Week 1: Introduction to School Things

Day 1: Vocabulary Introduction

• Objective: Introduce basic school things vocabulary.


• Materials: Flashcards, real school items, textbook.
• Activities:
• Warm-up: Discuss what items students brought to school.
• Presentation: Use flashcards to introduce vocabulary (e.g., pencil, book,
eraser, ruler).
• Practice: Have students repeat the words and match flashcards with real
items.
• Production: Students draw and label their favorite school item.
• Wrap-up: Play a quick game of “What’s Missing?” with flashcards.

Day 2: Vocabulary Practice

• Objective: Reinforce vocabulary through interactive activities.


• Materials: Worksheets, crayons.
• Activities:
• Warm-up: Review Day 1 vocabulary with flashcards.
• Practice: Complete a matching worksheet where students draw lines
from words to pictures.
