I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the period, the learners should be able to:
a. identify the different types of weather;
b. describe each type of weather; and
c. label the types of weather.

1. Prayer

2. Greetings

“Good afternoon, grade 2!” “Good afternoon, teacher!”


“How are you this afternoon? It’s nice to see “Feeling Good! It is nice to see you, too”

“Awesome! You may now take your seats” (Sitting)

“Ready for a new lesson?” “Yes teacher, we are ready in learning


more in science”

“Before we proceed, I have some rules to be


followed”

1. Raise your right hand if you want to


answer or if you have questions.

“Great! I will be flashing a picture, you will (Listening)


be guessing the correct word for those
pictures, okay?”

“There will be 1 picture each word”

(Looking at the picture)

1. NNSYU -

“Miles, what do you think is the correct word Miles: “The word is SUNNY”
for that pictures?”

“Correct! For the 1st pic, the word is


SUNNY”

2. YNRIA -

“Who wants to try?”


(Raising their hands)
“Jayro”
Jayro: ”The word is RAINY”

“Great! For the 2nd pic, the word is RAINY”

3. MYSOTR -

“Who wants to try?” (Raising their hands)


“Sophia” Sophia: “Teacher, the word for that is
STORMY”
“Good! For the 3rd pic, the word is

- It is not so hot
“Does the sun shines brightly when it is “No, teacher”
cloudy day?”

RAINY DAY
- Rain falls continuously from the sky
- Almost everything outside gets wet (Listening)
- When it rains, it is cold

“What is the weather when the rain falls “The weather is rainy day”

WINDY DAY
- Winds blow fast and strong (Listening)

STORMY DAY
- There are heavy rains and strong (Listening)
winds
