Once upon a sunny morning, the bell rang at Jangwani Primary School, signaling an

to the much-awaited visit to Serengeti National Park. The students, ranging from
standard one graders to confident standard six graders, gathered in the school parade
ground, their bags filled with passion.
The journey began as the school bus rolled out of the dusty gates. The students
talked, their eyes wide with wonder. They travelled through lovely towns with bright
houses. When they reached the park, the air smelled like fun and freedom.
The wide-open savanna land stretched out in front of them, with tall golden grass
moving gently in the breeze. Zebras were peacefully eating grass. Tall giraffes stood
next to the acacia trees, stretching their necks upward. And then, the students saw the
lions, lazing under the shade of a baobab tree. Cameras clicked, capturing memories
that would last a lifetime.
As the sun went down, the students sat around a fire. Their leader, Mr. Simba (yes, like
a lion), who was their guide, told stories about animals. The students felt close to
nature like never before.

PASSAGE
In the bustling classrooms of Glisten Pre and Primary School, two students stood
out: Nyashi and Nyasha. Their secret? Tireless self-study. These dedicated souls spent
extra hours with their textbooks, practicing math problems and exploring science
concepts. Their hard work paid off—they excelled in their exams, secured
scholarships, and paved their way to promising futures.
Nyashi, the math lover, solved equations with determination. His unwavering
commitment to self-study transformed him into a top scorer. Nyasha, the science
lover, conducted experiments and marveled at the wonders of the natural world. Her
passion for discovery fueled her success.
The tale took a turn for the worse with the arrival of Mwakyusa, a fellow student who
neglected self-study. Despite Mwakyusa’s hopes that luck would be on his side, his
lack of effort left him ill-prepared for the challenges life presented. As he skipped self-
study sessions in favor of leisure, he failed to build the necessary skills and knowledge
to navigate life successfully, leading to massive failure.
