Awpl S3C Final Rule Book
1. The tournament will take place on 29th April to 6th of May 2024.
2. The tournament will consist of 4 teams
3. Each team should consist of maximum 10+1 players.
4. Sixer Tennis ball will be used throughout the tournament.
5. All league matches will be of 8 overs.
6. Qualifiers, Eliminator, Third Place, and Final will be of 10 overs.
7. For all league matches (8 overs match), a bowler can bowl a maximum of 1 over
(2+1+1+1+1+1+1).
For Qualifiers , Eliminator and Finals (10 overs match), only 2 bowlers per team can bowl
maximum 2 overs and remaining bowlers can bowl a maximum of 1
over(2+2+1+1+1+1+1+1).
8. Captains should submit their playing at the time of toss that 11 players should be
present during the whole match if the player is missing during the match there will be penalty .
If any team found breaching this rule, a strict action will be taken. (5 runs penalty as first
warning, and one match ban if found guilty again.)
8. Here are the key points regarding the Challenge Over:
• The Challenge Over will be the 5th over of the innings.
• The batting team will have the opportunity to score additional runs, with a target of 15
runs set for this over.
• If the batting team successfully scores 15 or more runs in the Challenge Over, they will
receive an additional 5 runs on top of the runs scored in that over.
• However, if the batting team fails to reach the 15-run target in the Challenge Over, 5
runs will be deducted from the total score.
Furthermore, if a wicket falls during the Challenge Over, an extra penalty of 3 runs will be
deducted from the total score.
9. All 11 players should be available at the time of toss , no other player will be permitted
to play if he is not present at time of toss. (Applicable for both teams).
10. Minimum of 7 players from a team will be required to be present on ground to start the
match. Team having less than 7 players at the ground during the start of their match will have
to forfeit the match.
11. All T20 international cricket match rules will be applied except LBW.
12. Free Hits will be given on all types of no-balls being bowled.
13. A bowler bowling 2 beamers will have to discontinue his over and she won’t be allowed
to bowl further in the match.
14. In the league stages, In the event of a match ending in a tie, Bowl out will be conducted
to decide the winner, if match gets tied again, one more Bowl out will be conducted of 3 balls .
In knockouts and Finals if match gets tie super over will be conducted to decide the winner, if
match gets tied again Bowl out will be conducted.15. All teams are expected to
participate in tournament in the true spirit of the game. No player should indulge in any form of
physical or verbal abuse with any player, match officials or spectators under any
circumstances. Zero tolerance to misbehaviour will be observed and teams will be
disqualified from the tournament. Any damage caused to property or person due to unruly
behaviour of any team members must be compensated by respective team as determined by
ACL committee.
16. In case of any misunderstandings in the decision of Umpires, only captains have right to
come inside the ground to consult the umpire respectfully. Misbehaviour of any kind will not
be tolerated, 5 runs penalty will be deducted on first warning. on second time, a strict action
will be taken on the team.
17. Due to crunched schedule, all teams are expected to report on ground at least 45
minutes prior to their scheduled match. If the match is not started on given time, umpire will
start applying penalty. If matches are preponed/postponed as per the schedule, all teams are
expected to bear and support the organisers. Toss for next match will be done during the
innings break of previous match.
18. In case of natural interruptions, final decision will be taken by on-field umpires and
organisers.
19. Stumps, Balls, Water and First Aid will be provided by Organisers. Teams must make
their own arrangements for other cricketing equipment needs. Teams must ensure the safety
of their personal belongings. Organisers won’t be responsible for any such issues or losses.
20. All players must wear proper cricketing attire. Non-adherence to dress code will result
into the concerned player being evicted from ground.
21. Captain must ensure that all players from their team are registered in "Cricheroes" app
for online scoring purpose. While submitting the team list, please make sure that registered
mobile number of all players are submitted.
22. Match ball will be selected by on-field umpires in confirmation with on-field batsman.
23. In case of a duplicate entry for any player other than squad, a team will straightaway
get disqualified.
24. On field Umpire`s decision will be final. In case of any dispute, organizing committee
will take a final call.
25. In case of ball crossing behind the nets with bat, 2 runs will be given declared to the
batsman. (only in case of ball hitting the bat)
26. 1D will only be given if ball gets stuck behind, otherwise ball will be considered in play.
