    Materials:
    ♥ yarn colors of your choice
    ♥ crochet hook of the appropriate size for the yarn chosen
    ♥ one pair of safety eyes
    ♥ one safety nose
    ♥ stuffing (fiberfill, polyfill, etc.)
    ♥ black embroidery floss
    ♥ tapestry needle

    Recommended Materials:
    ♥ Vanna’s Choice yarn
    ♥ 4.25 mm crochet hook
    ♥ 10.5 mm safety eyes
    ♥ 12 mm safety nose

    Finished Size:
    Kitty stands approximately 8” tall based on “recommended materials”. Sizes
    may vary depending on the yarn and size of crochet hook used.

    Abbreviations:
    R = round
    st = stitch
    ch = chain stitch
    sc = single crochet
    hdc = half double crochet
    inc = increase (single crochet twice in the same stitch)
    dec = decrease (single crochet two stitches together)
    * = repeat instructions between * and *

    Important Note:
    Each piece begins with a “ring”. Use any type of ring you are comfortable with
    (i.e. adjustable loop, chain 2 and single crochet in second chain, etc.). Work in
    one continuous spiral and mark the last stitch of each round to keep track of
    where you are.

    R4 * sc 4, dec 1 * - repeat 2 times (10 st)
    R5 sc 10
    R6 sc 10

    Fasten off and leave tail for sewing
    ♥ Kitty Tail
    Use grey yarn
    ch 20, sc 19 starting at second loop from hook. Fasten off and leave tail for sewing

    ♥ Kitty Scarf
    Use pink yarn
    ch 80, hdc starting at fifth loop from hook. Fasten off and weave in ends.

    ♥ Suggested Kitty Assembly Order


    1) Attach the safety eyes through the head (between R13 and R14)
    2) Position the nose but don’t attach it yet. Sew the mouth using embroidery floss then
    attach the safety nose.
    3) Stuff the head and the body
    4) Sew the body to the head
    5) Sew the ears to the head
    6) Sew the arms onto the body
    7) Sew the legs onto the body
    8) Sew the tail onto the body
    9) Put the scarf your kitty, all warm!

    Note: the order of assembly is completely up to you.
