CROCHET PATTERN

Size:
If you use similar yarn and crochet hook as me your doll will be about:
• Height: 30 cm/ 12 inches
• Width: 16 cm/ 6 inches
• Depth: 10 cm/ 4 inches

What you need:


• Crochet hook size 4 mm (8, G) or which hook you use for
amigurumis.
• Cotton yarn suitable for hook size bigger than 4 mm (or which
one you use). I use heavy cotton yarn, aran medium yarn, ”Yarn
and color – EPIC”. You will need: Dark grey 30 gram, Beige 70
gram, white 10 gram, pink 15 gram, yellow 55 gram and purple
10 gram.
• Safety eyes 2 x oval eyes, I use 14 mm x 10 mm. You can buy the
safety eyes in my webshop www.crochetbykim.com.
• Wooden buttons 2 x 15 mm (optional).
• Scissor
• Needle
• Stuffing

Abbreviations:
• Magic ring - Adjustable Ring, to start the different parts of the
amigurumi.
• SC – Single crochet
• CH - Chain
• INC – Increase
• DEC – decrease
• SK – Skip one stitch
• SS - Slipstitch
• DC – Double crochet
• BLO – Backloops only
• FLO – Frontloops only
Legs (make 2):
Beige yarn
1. 6 x SC in a magic ring (6)
2. INC x 6 (12)
3. 1 x SC, INC. Repeat x 6. (18)
4 - 15. 18 x SC (18)
Don´t cut of the yarn on leg 2, this one will be the start of the body.

Body:
Beige yarn

• With the second leg you made – chain 12, to connect them
together.

• Desciption on row 1: Crochet 18 SC (around leg 1), crochet 12


SC (over the chains), 18 SC around leg 2 and 12 SC (on the other
side on the chains). Then follow the pattern on the next page.

Cut the yarn and attach all loose threads.
Don´t forget to stuff the body along crocheting.
• Embroider a nose to the doll with beige yarn. I place the nose
between row 29 and 30, over 3 stitches.
• Pin and sew on the rouge to the doll. Place them between row
23 and 28 on the body.

Rouge (make 2):


Pink yarn

Cut the yarn and save a piece of yarn for sewing later.
Skirt:
Pink yarn
Crochet the skrit in the FLO on
row 22 on the body…
1. INC x 60 (120)
2. 120 x SC (120)

Cut the yarn and attach all loose
threads.

Crochet the skirt in the FLO on row 22 on


the body. Crochet the skirt by holdning
the doll upside down.
Arms (make 2):
Beige yarn
1. 6 x SC in a magic ring (6)
2. INC x 6 (12)
3. 3 x SC, INC. Repeat x 3 (15)
4 - 10. 15 x SC (15)
change to grey yarn
Start to stuff the arms
11 - 13. 15 x SC (15)
change to white yarn
14 - 16. 15 x SC (15)

Stuff the arms.
20. Fold the arms and crochet through
both sides with 7 x SC (7)
Cut the yarn and save a piece of yarn for sewing .

Pin and sew on the arms to sides of the


doll. Place the arms between row 20
and 21 on the body.

Hair:

Cut the yarn and save a piece of yarn for
sewing.
Top knot:
Yellow yarn

Stuff the top knot with stuffing.
Cut the yarn and save a piece of yarn for sewing .

• Pin and sew on the hair to the doll. Place the hair as the picture
shows.
• Pin and sew in the top knot to the doll. Place the top knot on the
top of the hair, between row 2 and 3 on the hair.
Ears (make 2):
Beige yarn
1. 6 x SC in a magic ring (6)
2. 1 x SC, INC. Repeat x 3 (9)
3. 9 x SC (9)
Cut the yarn and save a piece of yarn for sewing.

Bow:
Pink yarn
Chain 19
1. Start in the second chain from the hook – 18 x
SC, turn with a chain 1. Sew on the ears to the doll.
Place the ears on the sides,
2 – 9. 18 x SC – turn with a chain 1 (18) between row 28 and 29 on the
10. Crochet SC around the piece with a INC (with body/head.
3 SC in one stitch) in every corner.
Cut the yarn and attach all loose threads.

Ribbon:
Pink yarn
1. Chain 11 – start in the second chain from the hook:
2. Crochet 10 x SC (10)
Cut the yarn and save a piece of yarn for sewing.
• Sew on the ribbon around the bow (see pictures)
• Sew on the bow to the doll. Place the bow in front of the top
knot.
• Sew on buttons to the doll. I use woodens buttons size 15 mm,
and I place them on the white stitpes on the dolls shirt.
