material waste, the connector can be reused up to 5 times.

The generic gel closure FIST-GCOG2 is the

environmentally sealed, fully mechanical
enclosure for the fiber management system
that provides the functions of splicing and
passive component integration in the external
network.

The FIST-GCOG2 has the following functions

and features:

• Single-ended design
• Base and dome are sealed with a clamp
and O-ring system
• 6 round cable ports are provided in a
wrap-around block with pre-installed gel
profile for cable sealing. This block can be
opened and closed repeatedly without
the need to remove or replace the gel.
• The UMS (Universal Mounting System)
profiles provide the foundation for
mounting combinations of SOSA2
(Splice Only Sub-Assembly) and/or
SASA2 (Splitter Array Sub-Assembly)
modules, which consists of a modular
grooveplate and trays.
• Compatible with most common cable
types: e.g. loose tube, central core, slotted
core
• Uncut fibers can be stored as single
circuits in trays and/or as cable elements
in the storage space between the profiles.
Storage baskets are available for mass
storage of fibers of central core cable
constructions.

General Introduction

GJS03-M8AX-JX-144D dome Fiber Optic Splice Closure (FOSC) are mechanical sealing closures for
ease of installation and re-entry, and cable seals feature a unique rubber buffer system that is available
for many kinds of fiber cable, especially for FTTx solutions. Common materials, accessories, and
practices are used throughout the product line to simplify training, reduce inventory, and enhance
productivity. All sizes are designed for use with any cable construction (loose buffer tube, central core
tube, loose fiber, and ribbon), in any environment (aerial, pole mounting, wall mounting, pedestal,
buried, hand hole and manhole), and for numerous splice applications (express, tap-off, branch, and
repair) offering full tightness (IP 68) in all scenarios. The vulcanized sealing rubber plug can be
customized for what kinds of fiber cable will be used, allowing mid span access.

All the ports are available for different kinds of rubber buffer according to the cable diameter. It is
also made by PP alloy with special elements which provide excellent performance in different using

3. Closing ring: Consists of one reusable rubber ring and closing hook. The hook is made by PP
alloy with nylon.

4. Tray Tower: The mounting bracket is available for 6 trays and one tray for fiber spare in the same
direction.

5. Fiber cable strength member system: The central member of each individual cable can be
attached at this point. Whatever main cable or branch cables, including FTTx cable are available.

6. Grounding device: A sealed grounding device can be pre-mounted in the base to connect metallic
components to an external ground.

1.0 Introduction:

GPJ09-8205is designed to seal without screws. The compact size and flip-over cover bring
easy operation as well as complete function.

The splice trays are jointed with a hinge at one side, which makes the operation in each
tray easier. It is designed to prevent from operation damage and warrantying a minimum
bend radius of 30mm.

The closure is suitable for uncut cable installation with ability to hold 16 soft cables or 16
adapters.
