Job Title Sales & Marketing Manager

Job Purpose
As a Sales & Marketing manager you will seamlessly blend sales and marketing efforts to drive revenue
growth and enhance market presence. We are enthusiastic about finding the right candidate to
spearhead our sales and marketing initiatives in these critical markets.

Key Result Areas

Build and manage a high-performing sales team, generate, advance, deliver sales, and develop new
market leads Build and manage a high-performing sales team.

 Oversee the entire sales process from end to end, ensuring that each stage is executed effectively to
drive deals to closure. Develop and implement streamlined processes and workflows to optimize
efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
 Deal origination, structuring, negotiation, documentation, and execution.
 Draft, develop, and implement comprehensive sales strategies across the organization. Develop
and execute effective closing strategies to secure commitments from clients and finalize agreements.
Utilize a variety of closing techniques, such as trial closes, assumptive closes, and urgency creation,
to expedite the decision-making process and drive deals to closure.
 Conduct feasibility studies and pricing negotiations, along with contract preparation.
 Provide transparent reporting on sales performance to ensure organizational visibility.

 Building and growing a strong sales and marketing team for the BGS Group focused on driving
revenue, adoption and market penetration in the marketplace

 Lead and manage a sales & marketing team, providing guidance and support. Foster collaboration
between team members and cross-functional departments. Train and mentor junior sales staff,
ensuring they are knowledgeable and proficient in product offerings.

 Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, such as digital, social media,
traditional advertising, and events.

 Create and manage content for marketing collateral, including websites, social media, brochures, and
other promotional materials. Coordinate with creative teams and agencies to develop compelling and
effective marketing materials and achieve organization’s goals and objectives.

 Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.

 Work closely with teams to create lead generation campaigns and ensure a steady stream of qualified
prospects converting into customers

 Negotiate and close partnership deals with B2B companies, focusing on mutual growth and long-term
collaboration.

 Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products, and apply insights to optimize sales
strategies.

 Leverage technology tools to analyze sales data and report on performance metrics.

 Ensure compliance with sales policies, practices, and procedures.

 Planning and executing promotional campaigns to enhance brand visibility.

 Digital Marketing - Managing online marketing channels such as social media, email marketing, SEO
and SEM. Utilizing digital tools and analytics to measure the effectiveness of the online and marketing
campaigns.

 Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team to
achieve exceptional results.

 Providing regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and making data-driven
recommendations for improvements.

 Conduct performance analysis of sales activities, including win/loss ratios, sales cycle duration, and
client satisfaction levels

 Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications & Experience

 Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.


 Grade 12 Certificate

 A minimum of 3 years of experience in the same position.

 Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

 Experience in negotiating and establishing B2B partnerships within the training and coaching
industry.

 Strong understanding and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

 Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and tools.

 Exceptional negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a demonstrated aptitude for overcoming
objections and securing commitments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong
multitasking, and decision-making skills.

 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

 Excellent leadership skills with experience in training and mentoring junior staff.

 Knowledge of the latest industry trends and competitive landscape.

 Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity

 Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

 Willingness to travel as required.
