Overview
This document provides a detailed descrip3on of the features and facili3es of the Finprov
Student Connect ERP solu3on, including the func3on and flow of each module. The goal is to
ensure a clear understanding of how the system operates and interacts with its users.
Func,onality and Features
1. User Management
Features:
• User Registra,on:
• Admin will add other staff users
• Allows centre staff to register new students with basic informa3on.
• Role-Based Access Control: Different roles such as Admin, Centre Staff, Student, and
Module Head with varying levels of access.
• OTP Verifica,on: Op3onal OTP verifica3on for addi3onal security.
Student Flow:
1. Centre staff inputs basic student informa3on (name, email, phone number).
2. An OTP is sent to the student's phone number (if enabled).
3. The student verifies their OTP to complete registra3on with filling applica3on form
and upload documents.
4. Admin approves the registra3on.

3. Course details are stored and made available for batch and fee management.
3. Batch Management
Features:
• Batch Crea,on: Create and manage batches with details like start month, year,
loca3on, mode, and 3me slot.
• Master Batch Management: Finprov Admins can create and manage master batches
that encompass mul3ple batches.
Flow:
1. Admin creates a batch by specifying relevant details.
2. Courses are linked to batches with their respec3ve start and end dates.
3. Master batches are managed by Finprov Admins for overarching control.
4. Fee Management
Features:
• Fee Structure Defini,on: Define registra3on fees, total course fees, discounts, and
installment plans.
• Payment Processing: Centre staff can process fee payments.
Flow:
1. Centre staff defines the fee structure for a course.
2. Students or Centre staff make payments based on the defined structure.
3. Payments are recorded and reflected in the student's profile.
5. No,fica,on Management
Features:
• Alert System: Send no3fica3ons about fee dues, aVendance shortages, marks, etc.
• Template Management: Standard templates for different types of no3fica3ons.
Flow:
1. Admin/Centre Staff creates a no3fica3on using predefined templates.
2. No3fica3on is sent to the relevant students (Individual, Batch and Master Batch
wise).
3. Students receive no3fica3ons via the app and can view past no3fica3ons.
6. Exam Management
Features:
• Exam Scheduling: Schedule main and internal exams.
• Eligibility Criteria: Define criteria based on exam percentage, aVendance, and fee
dues.
Flow:
1. Admin/Centre Faculty schedules an exam with details like date, type, and course.
2. Exam details are linked to batches and students are no3fied.
3. Eligibility for exams is checked based on predefined criteria.
7. Timetable Management
Features:
• Timetable Crea,on: Create 3metables with faculty selec3on, date range, subjects,
and 3me slots.
• Online Class Links: Integrate online class links with 3metables.
Flow:
1. Faculty/Admin creates a 3metable by selec3ng dates, subjects, and batches.
2. Timetable is made available to students via the app/web.
3. Students access online class links through the 3metable.
8. Assignment Management
Features:
• Assignment Scheduling: Schedule assignments on master batches.
• Submission and Review: Students upload assignments; faculty reviews and marks
them.
Flow:
1. Faculty schedules an assignment with a deadline.
2. Students upload their assignments via the app/web.
3. Centre Faculty reviews submissions and enters marks.
9. Cer,ficate Management
Features:
• Cer,ficate Genera,on: Auto-generate cer3ficates upon fee comple3on.
• Manual Upload: Centre staff can upload cer3ficates manually.
Flow:
1. Cer3ficates are auto-generated or uploaded manually upon course comple3on.
2. Students receive a no3fica3on upon successful cer3ficate genera3on/upload.
3. Students can view/download cer3ficates from the app.
10. Report Management
Features:
• Report Genera,on: Generate various reports like student drop/shiR list, fee due
reports, aVendance reports, and eligibility reports, Full data export.
Flow:
1. Admin generates reports from the Report Management module.
2. Reports are compiled based on data from various modules.
3. Generated reports are available for download and review.
11. AXendance Management
Features:
• Manual AXendance: By default all students will be present and faculty can mark
absent once.
• QR Code AXendance: Mark aVendance by scanning student QR codes.
• AXendance Tracking: Track and manage aVendance records.
Flow:
1. Centre staff scans student QR codes to mark aVendance.
2. AVendance data is recorded and stored.
3. Students can view their aVendance status via the app/web.
12. Payment Gateway Integra,on
Features:
• Online Payments: Enable students to pay fees online.
• Secure Transac,ons: Ensure secure processing of transac3ons.
Flow:
1. Students ini3ate payments through the payment gateway.
