III. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

In a pro-active initiative to enhance the professional skills of its non-teaching

personnel, Tabuk City National High School through the Human Resource and

Development Office in coordination with the Guidance Office, successfully organized

a three-day training program covering various crucial aspects of career development.

The sessions included understanding the vital importance of change and innovation

in the organization, and the value of satisfying clients and their role in achieving

service excellence; committing to develop a ‘Customer First’ mindset and customer-

focused behaviors; gaining in-depth understanding on applicable UN SDGs in the

work setting; identifying different customer types and interact and interact

appropriately with them; and recognizing the importance of proactively promoting

principles on inclusive and child-friendly school.

The first day, June 12, 2024, at 2PM gathered participants to travel going to

TAM-AN Mountain Resort and Hotel, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya. A solidarity


meeting and training orientation transpired, an informal opening was conducted with

some house rules and setting of perspectives.

On session 1 of Day 2, July 13, 2024, saw participants delving into the

nuances of Change and Innovation in the Workplace at the Keila Cottage, TAM-AN

Mountain Resort and Hotel, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya. Speakers Raymar M.

Galinggan, an esteemed Supervisory member, shared expertise providing valuable

insights and strategies for effective adoption to change and innovation in a

professional setting and the speakers imparted insights on modern leadership

strategies, fostering an environment of innovation and adaptability. On the same day,

Relational Problem Solving at Work and the Role of Non-Teaching Personnel in

Inclusive and Child-Friendly School discussed by School Head Joselito B. Cabello,

shared sufficient reiteration and reminding of non-teaching personnels on their roles

and function in the successful delivery of client services.

On the third day, June 14, 2024, the focus shifted to the Sustainable

Development Goals (SDGs) Call to Action: Making the Workplace Sustainable.

Assistant School Head for Junior High School (JHS), an expert on the SDGs and its

integration in the workplace, led the engaging sessions, offering participants a

comprehensive understanding on how to adapt and grow in rapidly evolving

professional landscape.

The third leg of the program, held on July 15, 2024, catered specifically to

frontline services employees. The session on Essentials of Customer Service and

Maintaining Harmony in the Workplace with Sir Jay-ar C. Dalimag, Assistant School

Principal for Senior High School (SHS), shared practical approaches and strategies

to enhance service quality and customer relations.


Participants expressed their gratitude for the well-organized and insightful

training sessions, acknowledging the institution’s commitment to providing continuing

learning opportunities. Such initiatives not only equip non-teaching personnel with

practical skills but also to contribute to an overall enhancement of organizational

efficiency and effectiveness. The success of this program serves as a testament to

TCNHS’ dedication to fostering a dynamic and skilled workforce.
