2. General description
Funktion The dual analogue indicator is designed for use in rail vehicles, for
example as a speedometer, and is used for the analogue
representation of measured variables, based on voltage, current or
frequency changes.
After the connection of the supply voltage the indicator carries out an
initialisation of the stepping motor system and then supplies the
current display value.
With the LCD-counter or role counter input pulses with which impulse
divisions are possible can be summed up.
The LCD-counter can also display two counter results to that which
counter 1 (upper display line) can be reset by an adequate connection
of the terminals (f.i. function of a daily odometer).
The counter programming unit ZP01 (1910) for the setting of the
counter results is deliverable
Two signal LEDs in the dial indicate operating modes, e.g. when
programmed indicator limit values are exceeded or in the event of
error modes.
With the commitment of the LCD tcounter with two counts (for
example function of an odometer's day) the status entry 1 and/or
reset entry is reserved to tally 1 for the resetting of the tally 1 (upper
display line). For the recording of binary input signals only the status
entry 2 is available through that.
All input and output signals are potentially separated from one
another and, with the exception of the interface to the indicator
feedback, from the supply voltage.

5. Connection
Resetting the
LCD counter Remove the cover of the reset button on the housing rear when
the supply voltage is switched off.
Switch on the supply voltage and press the reset button behind the
rear with an electrically non-conductive object (e.g. pen) for at
least 1 s.
Switch off the supply voltage and close the cover on the housing rear
again.
Presetting the
counter status The LCD counter or roller counter can be set to a defined counter
status using an additional electronic preselection counter. The
maximum input frequency for the counter input must not be
exceeded as a result.
Fuse: The indicator has a safety fuse (T 800 mA) accessible from the rear
for protection against supply overvoltage.
Note:
The indicator must be returned to the manufacturer if the fuse is
faulty.
Note:
The logic outputs to the SUB D25 socket are not potentially
separated from the supply voltage
The HCMOS logic outputs have protective series resistors of
1 kΩ± 10 %
