(Seller)

Overview

A Secondary User (Seller) in Government e-Marketplace is a person of responsibility as approved by the Primary User (Seller).
These authorized secondary users enjoy rights and privileges as assigned to them by the Primary User- Seller.

The Key Role of the Secondary Sellers are as follows:


• Can Participate in Bid/RA
• Can Create catalogue
• Can Manage Order Fulfillment
• Can Participate in Purchase requisition

The Primary Seller can create up to 50 Secondary Users (Active) and
manage their roles and status here.

Click on ‘Users’
to view the list
of users under
the primary
seller. To add the
Secondary User,
Click on ‘Add New
Secondary User’
as shown.

The Primary User can add one or more roles as per the preferences/
requirement for the Secondary Users.

The system will prompt a success message. An activation link will be sent
to the secondary user’s email id for further action.

Conclusion

The secondary user can only be created by the Primary User (Seller).

Primary User can create upto 50 secondary users.

One or more roles can be combined while creating the secondary user.

Secondary user would need to enter Personal PAN, Name, Date of birth and Mobile number to complete the account
activation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it mandatory to create secondary users?


Once Seller/Service Provider is registered and account is created on Government e-Marketplace, the Primary user of the Seller/Service
Provider can create Secondary User Accounts within Seller/Service Provider Organization with different roles and responsibilities. But it
is not mandatory to create secondary users.

What are the pre-requisites for a secondary seller/service provider registration?


The pre-requisites for a secondary seller/service provider registration are:
1. Aadhaar Number or Personal PAN of the user
2. For Aadhaar based registrations, mobile number which is linked with the Aadhaar is required
3. Active email ID

Is PAN and ITR are required for secondary seller registration?


It depends on the primary seller registration. If primary seller registration is done through PAN then PAN is required for secondary seller
registration as well. Note: ITR is not required for seller registration .It is required for profile updation after getting registered as a
primary user.
