Campus on the Porous and Rigged Screening by Archivals
We pray to Chukwuokike abiama that this piece finds you people well. We will first of all love to
appreciate you Professor Charles Obiora for your efforts to ensure that Nze na Ozo COOU is still
bubbling till this day.We want to assure you that all your efforts were not and can never be taken
for granted as we are on working on ground to ensure that Nze na Ozo remains glorious. We also
appreciate your efforts in making Nze na Ozo more prestigious.
But we will not fail to communicate to you and all the Archivals our deep regret, disappointment,
and displeasure on the screening exercise organized by the Archivals which was clouded with all
sort of rigging and scripted assistance.
The Screening Adhoc Committe didn't put to consideration necessary aspects of the Nze na Ozo
screening exercise.
Firstly, some Archivals present rejected the authorized representative of Igwe Nnanyelugo I
thereby leading to a hijack of the screening process.
Secondly, there was no anti-cult screening before the screening exercise which nullifies the
screening on that grounds for possible breach of peace as is even evident at the moment.
Thirdly, some important aspects of an equitable Nze na Ozo screening exercise were excluded
which led to perversed judgement by the committee. The committee only considered Questions,
and Itu Nsu, they didn't consider dressing and active participation of the vying parties which are
very vital in a screening exercise.
Fourthly, in respect of the question, the questions were asked by a Party that had interest in the
Crown with a brother to a Contestant forming part of the members of the Adhoc Committe that
hijacked the Designated Committee and the question didn't come from every member of the
committee which is against the equitable principle of Nemo judex incausasua, a latin maxim of
equity which states that one cannot be a judge in his own case.
Furthermore, questions were not asked in respect of our forefathers and traditional ideas a student-
member of Nze na Ozo ought to know.
As a result of all these anomalies and many more irregularities that cannot be stated here,
the Igwe in Council of Nze na Ozo COOU has come to the conclusion that we need to be
given the chance to choose our leader as it is us that will bear the good or bad consequences
of any decision made now in respect of the Crown of COOU. In respect of the above
submission, we ask that at this point, Archivals should relax, so that we will select a king
that will rule us, because the body has been compromised. With your permission the Nze
na Ozo COOU through the necessary offices will invite whosever that we feel that will be
fair and just to the Custom and Tradition of our people, for the betterment of Nze na Ozo
COOU to the screening exercise.
