Conditional type 0
Use: Condition type 0 is used to talk about something which is always true. It always
happens, on the condition that something else happens.
Form:

e.g. If you fly on a budget airline, you have to buy your own drinks.
Or

you present simple , when you present simple.

e.g. you have to buy your own drinks, if you fly on a budget airline.
Conditional type 1
Use: It is used for real or possible situations. These situations take place if a certain condition
is met. It is possible and also very likely that the condition will be fulfilled.
Form:
If + Present Simple, + Future Simple
e.g. If I have enough time, I’ll watch the football match.
Conditional type 2
Use: It is used for unreal impossible situations. This conditional provides an imaginary result
for a given situation. It is very unlikely that the condition will be fulfilled.
Form:
If + Past Simple, + would + infinitive
e.g. If I had a lot of money, I would travel around the world.
Conditional type 3
Use: It is impossible that the condition will be met because it refers to the past.
Form:
If + Past Perfect, + would + have + Past Participle
e.g. If I had been careful, I wouldn’t have had that terrible accident.
