I usually watch the TV for an hour or two every day. I only (1) switch on/switch off
the TV when I know there is something I want to watch. I try to watch the (2)
news/adverts because I think it’s important to know what’s happening in the
world. I also like watching (3) cookery programmes/documentaries, especially ones
about space and the natural world. However, I don’t like many other programmes,

How to learn new words

If you don’t understand a word, use a dictionary to (1) translate/practice it into your own
