Dell PowerScale Supportability and Compatibility Guide
This guide provides supportability and compatibility information for PowerScale software and hardware.
The intention of the Technical and Security Advisories is to provide detailed information on the severity and impact as well as the cause
and resolution around specific issues found in PowerScale code releases.
DSAs alert to potential security vulnerabilities and their remedies for Dell products. The advisories include specific details about the issue
and instructions to help prevent or alleviate the problem. Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) identify publicly known security
concerns. A Dell DSA can address one or more CVEs.

Secure Remote Services (formerly ESRS) is a secure, two-way connection between Dell products and Dell Customer Support that helps
customers avoid and resolve issues. It proactively identifies and resolves potential issues before they can impact your operations by
providing secure, high-speed, 24x7 remote support. It utilizes industry-leading technology within a secure environment around the clock to
provide fast access to world-class support. SRS enables Dell support personnel to monitor and if necessary, to repair your Dell investments
24x7 so your information infrastructure is always proactively managed.
SRS uses sophisticated encryption techniques to ensure the safety and integrity of all remote activity. In addition, except for installing
replacement parts, an internal study revealed that service requests are often closed five times faster and Dell is three times as likely to
resolve customer problems at the time of initial contact for SRS connected systems.
