a) Candidates Selection:
Candidates will be selected based on High School Grades, German Language Skills and will
be required to undergo an Aptitude Test. The following will be the minimum requirements:
b) Duration
The Certificate course will take two semesters of 14 weeks each. Upon completion, the
graduates will be offered a guaranteed Nursing Apprenticeship in partner German hospitals.
d) Assessment
The course will be assessed at two levels:
i. Internal assessment: conducted continuously by the trainers in Kenya and Germany.
ii. External assessment: conducted by Goethe-Institut.
3. Onboarding in Germany:
During the preparation in Kenya and training in Germany, the African Nurses/Pfleger and
AG-Career Hub in Germany will support the students to successfully integrate into the
training and working environment in German hospitals as well as organise mentors and
colleagues in Germany to accompany them during their stay.
