“RESOLUTION REPROGRAMMING THE AMOUNT OF TEN
THOUSAND PESOS (10,000.00) FROM THE SUPPORT TO
MISS ABC TO BE UTILIZED FOR THE SUPPORT TO ARTS
AND CULTURE FOR THE BAC-BACARA DANCE PARADE
COMPETITION 2023”
WHEREAS, presented for consideration and appropriate action by the

Punong Barangay to the august Body is the budgeted amount of the Support
to Arts and Culture this Calendar Year 2023 in the amount of TEN THOUSAND
PESOS (10,000.00)
“WHEREAS, the appropriated amount is not sufficient to cover all the

expenditures of the said activities so there is a need to augment the said
item by TEN THOUSAND PESOS (10,000.00) from the Search for Miss ABC
2023.
“WHEREAS, the Punong Barangay also informed the members of the

Sangguniang Barangay that the Search for Miss ABC 2023 is now named
BINIBINING BACARRA 2023 which is sponsored by the Federated
Sangguniang Kabataan Association of this municipality.
“WHEREAS, the august Body after the presentation made by the

Punong Barangay hereby recommended and approved that the said item will
be augmented for the said purpose.
“WHEREAS, on motion of Sangunniang Barangay Member Pedro A.

Subia
and duly seconded by all the members present, it was
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to augment the Support to Arts
and Culture of Bac-Bacarra Festival 2023 amounting to TEN THOUSAND
PESOS (10,000.00) from the Support to Miss ABC 2023 for the Bac-Bacarra
Dance Competition.
UNANIMOUSLY CARRIED.

The special session was called to order by the Punong Barangay &
Presiding Officer Nelia C. Cudal at exactly 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon.
ROLL CALL:
The Punong Barangay directed the Secretary to call the roll for which
eight (8) members responded and a quorum was declared.
BUSINESS FOR THE DAY:

The Punong Barangay presented to the Body that there is a need to

reprogram the Budget from the Support to Miss ABC since the
budget allocated for the Support to Arts and Culture us insufficient
for the said activity.

Sangguniang Barangay Member Pedro A. Subia duly seconded by the
Members present, the special session was adjourned at exactly 4:00 in the
afternoon.

‘A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING BDC RESOLUTION NO. 2020-
00_ ENTITLED “A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND RECOMMENDING THE
SUPPLEMENTAL ANNUAL INVESTMENT PLAN OF BARANGAY 7 SAN PEDRO
II, THIS MUNICIPALITY TO THE BARANGAY COUNCIL FOR APPROVAL’
WHEREAS, the Punong Barangay presented to the Body, BDC Resolution

Number 2020 – 00_ approving the Supplemental Annual Investment Plan of the
barangay for Current Year 2020.
WHEREAS, the Body found out that the Supplemental Barangay Annual
Investment Plan is in conformity with the existing budgetary rules and regulations.
WHEREAS, it is further found out that same contains the aims and
aspirations of the residents for 2020, thus, reflects the priority
programs/projects/activities of the barangay.
WHEREAS, this local governance finds it fitting and just to approve and
adopt the BDC Resolution Number 2020 – 00_ considering that the benefits to be
derived from the implementation of the different priority programs, projects, and
activities will redound the welfare of all.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT AS IT IS
HEREBY RESOLVED to adopt and approve Barangay Development Council
Resolution Number 2022-00_ entitled “A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND
ADOPTING BDC RESOLUTION NO. 2020-00_ ENTITLED “A RESOLUTION
APPROVING AND RECOMMENDING THE SUPPLEMENTAL ANNUAL
INVESTMENT PLAN OF BARANGAY 7 SAN PEDRO II, THIS MUNICIPALITY TO
THE BARANGAY COUNCIL FOR APPROVAL’
RESOLVED FURTHER to submit copies of this Barangay resolution with a
copy of the Supplemental Barangay Investment Plan of Barangay 7 San Pedro II,
Bacarra, Ilocos Norte to the Sangguniang Bayan of Bacarra for their review and to
all authorities concerned for their guidance and information.

WHEREAS, BDC Chairperson Nelia C. Cudal presented the urgent funding

of the priority governance services of the barangay;
WHEREAS, the BDC Chairman had reported that the barangay had
Continuing BDF for CY 2019 amounting to Four Thousand Seven
Hundred Eighty Seven & 20/100 (P 4,787.20), Unappropriated
Surplus for CY 2019 amounting to Eighty Six Thousand Five
Hundred Seventy Pesos & 41/100 (P 86,570.41), and the amount
of Fourteen Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty Six Pesos & 05/100
(P 14,886.05) from Capital Outlay for CY 2019.
WHEREAS, the BDC Chairman presented the following items for

appropriation in the 2020 Supplemental Barangay Investment Program No. 3
to be funded out of Unappropriated Surplus & 20% BDF, Capital Outlay for CY
2019 as to wit;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Sangguniang Barangay Member

BE IT AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve and adopt the

Supplemental Annual Investment Plan of the barangay CY 2020.
RESOLVED FINALLY to furnish copies of this BDC Resolution to the

their favorable and appropriate legislative course of action.

HUNDRED SIX THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FORTY-THREE PESOS
& 66/100 (P 106,243.66) FROM THE CONTINUING BDF,
UNAPPROPRIATED SURPLUS AND CAPITAL OUTLAY FOR CY
2019 TO BE UTILIZED FOR THE VARIOUS DEVELOPMENTAL
PROJECTS OF BARANGAY 7 SAN PEDRO II BACARRA, ILOCOS
NORTE FOR THE CURRENT YEAR.”
After a careful and lengthy deliberation and discussion on the merits of the
above-mentioned appropriation, it came out that such will redound to the
benefit and welfare of all concerned.
On motion of Sangguniang Barangay Member.Daniel A. Guerrero duly

seconded by all the Members present, the above Brgy. Appropriation
Ordinance was unanimously approved by the Body with the following votes:
