BDC RESOLUTION NO. 2023-005
A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE CY 2024 BARANGAY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND

MANAGEMENT PLAN AND BUDGET OF BARANGAY #27, DURIPES BACARRA, ILOCOS
NORTE
WHEREAS, Section 12 (a) of Republic Act No. 10121 and its IRR and further reiterated by DILG
MC No. 2010-143 dated December 09, 2010 mandates the establishment of a Barangay Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Committee (BDRRMC) in every barangay, which shall be responsible for
setting the direction, development, implementation and coordination of disaster risk management programs
within their territorial jurisdiction;
WHEREAS, Section 12 (c) (7) provides that local governments shall prepare and submit to the
Local Sanggunian through the LDRRMC and the LDC the annual LDRRMO Plan and Budget, the proposed
programming of the LDRRMF, other dedicated disaster risk reduction and management resources, and other
regular funding source/s and budgetary support of the LDRRMO/BDRRMC;
WHEREAS, Section 21 further provides that the LDRMMC shall monitor and evaluate the use and
disbursement of the LDRRMF based on the LDRRMP as incorporated in the local development plans and
annual work and financial plan;
WHEREAS, pursuant to above-mentioned provisions of the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and
Management Act of 2010, the BDRRMC submitted to this body the CY 2024 DRRM Plan and Budget for
consideration;
WHEREAS, after thorough deliberation, it has been found out that said plan and budget conforms
with existing rules and regulations and contains programs, projects and activities necessary for disaster
preparedness, risk-reduction, mitigation and rehabilitation;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Sangguniang Barangay Member Joseph V. Ramento, duly
seconded by all members present and to prevent delay in the delivery of basic services and facilities to the
Barangay;
BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, TO ENDORSE THE CY 2024

DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT PLAN AND BUDGET OF BARANGAY
#27, DURIPES BACARRA, ILOCOS NORTE;
RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of this resolution to concern offices for their
information and references.
APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.

The Presiding Officer directed the secretary to call the roll and since all members are present
a quorum was declared.
BUSINESS OF THE DAY:
The Presiding Officer Visitacion V. Cabusas presented to the body the CY 2024
BARANGAY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT FUND
INVESTMENT PLAN & BUDGET OF BARANGAY #27, DURIPES BACARRA, ILOCOS
NORTE.
She then asked the body for any clarification or corrections and suggestion to the said plan.
No one asked questions or made any suggestion and the body unanimously approved the
CY 2024 BARANGAY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT FUND
INVESTMENT PLAN & BUDGET OF BARANGAY #27, DURIPES BACARRA, ILOCOS
NORTE.

WHEREAS, the Punong Barangay Visitacion V. Cabusas presented the August Body the
different priority programs, projects and activities of the CY 2024 Barangay Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Plan and Budget of Barangay #27, Duripes Bacarra, Ilocos Norte
Barangay for appropriate legislative action.
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay after a though study on the merits of the afore-
cited CY 2024 Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan and Budget, it was found
out that it will redound to the general welfare of all barangay residents.
WHEREAS, the following priority programs, projects and activities with the corresponding
estimated fund requirements are enumerated in the plan:
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Sangguniang Barangay Member Efren C. Valite duly
seconded by all members present
RESOLVED as it is hereby resolved to adopt and approved the CY 2024 Barangay Disaster
Risk Reduction and Management Plan and Budget which was formulated by the Barangay Disaster
Risk Reduction and Management Committee of the barangay.
RESOLVED FINALLY to transmit of this CY 2024 Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction

and Management Plan and Budget all authorities concerned for their information and guidance.
UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED by the Members present with the following votes:
AYES: Seven (7) Sangguniang Barangay Members & One (1) SK Chairman

The Punong Barangay fist greeted all the members present, SBM Dany R. Calumpit led the
prayer. After the prayer, she then proceeded to the meeting proper;
1. Adoption of Barangay Resolution Number 2023-009 entitled;

MANAGEMENT PLAN AND BUDGET OF BARANGAY

After a lengthy and thorough discussion on the merits of the afore-cited subject, it turned out
that everything is in order and in conformity of the existing budgetary laws, rules and regulations as
well as it redound to the benefits and welfare of all concerned.
After which, he moved for the adoption and approval of a Barangay Resolutions No. 2023-
009.
The said barangay measures were duly approved by the body with the following votes:
AYES- 8 NAYS- 0 ABSTENTION- 0
