Basically all Sharygin problems

Problem 1 (Sharygin 2018 P20)

Let the incircle of a nonisosceles triangle ABC touch AB, AC and BC at points
D, E and F respectively. The corresponding excircle touches the side BC at point
N . Let T be the common point of AN and the incircle, closest to N , and K be the
common point of DE and F T . Prove that AK||BC.

Problem 2 (Sharygin 2022 P19)

Let I be the incenter of triangle ABC, and K be the common point of BC with the
external bisector of angle A. The line KI meets the external bisectors of angles B
and C at points X and Y . Prove that ∠BAX = ∠CAY

Problem 3 (Sharygin 2022 P18)

The products of the opposite sidelengths of a cyclic quadrilateral ABCD are equal.
Let B ′ be the reflection of B about AC. Prove that the circle passing through
A, B ′ , D touches AC

Problem 4 (Sharygin 2022 P22)

Chords A1 A2 , A3 A4 , A5 A6 of a circle Ω concur at point O. Let Bi be the sec-
ond common point of Ω and the circle with diameter OAi . Prove that chords
B1 B2 , B3 B4 , B5 B6 concur.

Problem 5 (Sharygin 2018 Problem 9.6)

Let ABCD be a circumscribed quadrilateral. Prove that the common point of the
diagonals, the incenter of triangle ABC and the centre of excircle of triangle CDA
touching the side AC are collinear.

Problem 6 (LMAO 2023 P2)

Let ABC be a triangle. Suppose D be a point such that BD = CD. Let P, Q be
points on lines BD, CD respectively, such that AP = BP and AQ = CQ. Prove
that as D varies, the line P Q passes through a fixed point

Problem 7 (MEMO 2022 T5)
Let Ω be the circumcircle of a triangle ABC with ∠CAB = 90. The medians through
B and C meet Ω again at D and E, respectively. The tangent to Ω at D intersects
the line AC at X and the tangent to Ω at E intersects the line AB at Y . Prove
that the line XY is tangent to Ω.

Problem 8 (MMO 2021 P4)

Define △ABC with circumcircle ω. Define point D on segment BC, and define points
E and F on AC and AB respectively such that ABDE and ACDF are cyclic. Lines
EF and BC meet at P . Define point Q on EF such that QD ⊥ BC. Let AQ meet
ω again at R. Show that as D varies on BC, the intersection of P R and ω is fixed.

Problem 9 (ISL 2004 G8)

Given a cyclic quadrilateral ABCD, let M be the midpoint of the side CD, and let
N be a point on the circumcircle of triangle ABM . Assume that the point N is
AN AM
different from the point M and satisfies BN = BM . Prove that the points E, F , N
are collinear, where E = AC ∩ BD and F = BC ∩ DA.

Problem 10 (ISL 2002 G7)

The incircle Ω of the acute-angled triangle ABC is tangent to its side BC at a point
K. Let AD be an altitude of triangle ABC, and let M be the midpoint of the
segment AD. If N is the common point of the circle Ω and the line KM (distinct
from K), then prove that the incircle Ω and the circumcircle of triangle BCN are
tangent to each other at the point N .

Problem 11 (APMO 2012 P4)

Let ABC be an acute triangle. Denote by D the foot of the perpendicular line
drawn from the point A to the side BC, by M the midpoint of BC, and by H the
orthocenter of ABC. Let E be the point of intersection of the circumcircle Γ of the
triangle ABC and the half line M H, and F be the point of intersection (other than
E) of the line ED and the circle Γ. Prove that BF AB
CF = AC must hold.

Problem 12 (USA TST 2011 P1)

In an acute scalene triangle ABC, points D, E, F lie on sides BC, CA, AB, respec-
tively, such that AD ⊥ BC, BE ⊥ CA, CF ⊥ AB. Altitudes AD, BE, CF meet
at orthocenter H. Points P and Q lie on segment EF such that AP ⊥ EF and
HQ ⊥ EF . Lines DP and QH intersect at point R. Compute HQ/HR.
