    RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE ROAD CLEARING PLANS, PROGRAMS, ACTIVITIES AND


    INITIATIVES OF THE BARANGAY ROAD CLEARING TECHNICAL WORKING GROUP OF BARANGAY
    __BADIANGON, MUNICIPALITY OF PRESIDENT ROXAS, PROVINCE OF CAPIZ,
    AND CAUSE THE WIDEST DISSEMINATION AND ADVOCACY HEREOF.

    WHEREAS, the Barangay Road Clearing Task Force is conducting intensified road clearing operations
    consisting of anti-illegal parking, anti-illegal vendors, anti-illegal terminals, cleaning or “kalinisan” activities, drainage
    and canal cleaning activities, pruning of obstructing plants and trees and many others;

    WHEREAS, Section 16 of RA 7160 mandates all local government unit to exercise the powers which are
    essential to the promotion of the general welfare, among others;

    WHEREAS, Section 17 (b) (l) (iii) of the Local Government Code directs the barangay to provide basic
    services such as, but not limited to, related to general hygiene and sanitation, beautification, and solid waste
    collection;
    WHEREAS, WHEREAS, Section 17 (b) (l) (v) of the Local Government Code enjoins the barangay to
    maintain barangay roads and bridges and water supply systems;

    WHEREAS, DILG MC No. 2024-053 directs the local government units to conduct road clearing operations
    (BaRCO) and to undertake other initiatives to reclaim public roads which are being used for private ends; and to clear
    and maintain barangay roads, streets, alleys, including those cleared roads that were turned over to the barangay
    government;

    WHEREAS, the Barangay Road Clearing Task Force shall cause the widest dissemination and advocacy of
    all road clearing policies of the government including the barangay plans, programs, projects, activities and initiatives
    formulated and crafted by the Road Clearing TWG for proper implementation;

    WEHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay shall provide funds for the Road Clearing Operation when
    necessary for the strict implementation of the program;

    NOW, THEREFORE, on motion made by Hon. _REJANE L. ESCOLIN and duly seconded by Hon.
    _LORNA B. GONZALES_____, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED, to pass a Resolution Supporting the
    Road Clearing Plans, Programs, Projects, Activities and Initiatives of the Barangay Road Clearing Technical Working
    Group of Barangay _BADIANGON______, Municipality of President Roxas, Province of Capiz, and Cause the
    Widest Dissemination and Advocacy Hereof in the Barangay.

    RESOLVED, further, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Office of the Mayor and the
    Sangguniang Bayan of President Roxas, Province of Capiz.

    UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED this __4TH day of February 2024 at President Roxas, Capiz.
