Task 2:
 Sustainable Development Presentation of White Gum Valley Project (DCSENV618 Use
Basic Environmental Concepts in Engineering).

a. What is outcome of your presentation?

The outcome of my presentation is to highlight the importance of sustainable development in


the construction industry and to analyse a project that exemplifies these principles. By
presenting the assessment, I aim to promote understanding of sustainable practices and their
relevance in meeting the needs of present and future generations.

b. Who are you presenting to?

 Costa Stylianou - Lecturer of Use Basic Environmental Concepts in Engineering


(DCSENV618).
 Classmates - Diploma of Civil and Structural Engineering (52889WA).

c. What resources do you require for your presentation?

 Computer (with access to electrical power and internet).


 Projector (with access to electrical power).
 Presentation software (PowerPoint preferred).
 Content (visual assets, template, and research material).
 Backup storage (cloud storage platform, e-mail, and USB flash drive).
 Feedback forms (for lecturer and selected classmates).

d. After presentation – use feedback forms from other students (minimum 3) and lecturer
to analyse the effectiveness of your presentation. Report on one area where you did well
and another where you can improve. Explain how you will improve. Include the data
used for this task in your answer.

How to improve my delivery:

 Prepare the presentation in advance and practice multiple times the content to become
familiar with the flow.
 Visualize and memorize key points.
 Create brief notes or cue cards with keywords.
 Slow down the pace and pause when needed.
 Join speaking groups or classes.
