To create a custom canvas, open the gallery, hit the
plus button in the top right, then hit this plus icon in
the dropdown.

A note on retina dimensions
Desktop 4K
3840x2160px (7680x4320px retina) For all digital canvases, you will notice brush strokes appear
72dpi, sRGB IEC61966-2.1 low resolution, pixelated or blurry. This is because the iPad
display you're drawing on is a retina display that has a higher
pixel density.

12.9in iPad Pro To overcome this, double your canvas pixel dimensions by
2048x2732px (4096x5464px retina) using the retina values listed in brackets. It's always better to
72dpi, sRGB IEC61966-2.1 draw at a higher resolution to give yourself more canvas to
work with.

300dpi, Generic CMYK Profile A color profile is a set of data that represents the spectrum of
colors that can be displayed or printed. For digital art (that is
only intended to be viewed on screen), RGB - Display P3 or
sRGB IEC61966-2.1 are the best options.
A4
210x297mm (8.3x11.7in)
Display P3 has the widest range of colors and is best
300dpi, Generic CMYK Profile
displayed on Apple devices. Whereas sRGB IEC61966-2.1
has a narrower color range - Thus for maximum compatibility I
recommend this profile.
A3
297x420mm (11.7x16.5in) For print, check with your printer for which profile they require,
300dpi, Generic CMYK Profile the profile will also vary depending on the paper stock you are
printing on. Because every printer is different, I recommend
setting your canvas to the Generic CMYK Profile. You can
change this setting midway through your artwork to your
A2
CMYK profile of choice once you have confirmed with your
420x594mm (16.5x23.4in)
printer. But you can't switch between RGB to CMYK (and visa
300dpi, Generic CMYK Profile
versa).

Note some printers such as Printful.com prefer artwork files to


US Letter be in RGB, not CMYK, so again, check with your printer before
8.5x11in starting.
