can i take h2 math without passing amath. I didn’t need it in my l1r5 and I didn’t
rly focus on it. Every1 saying its damn easy and i think im gonna fail. I was
wondering if I could still take h2 math in jc cos my emath is still good. i am
think of going to sajc or asr. Anybody knows if i can still take h2 math without
passing amath?

Some jc allow h2 maths without add maths , check with the school directly., just
that taking jc h2 maths without pass in add maths is not recommended unless you
willing to take either bridging lessons in school or bridging lessons out of school
time by your own

hi! from asr here :) if im not wrong there is no requirement for u to pass amath to
take H2 math (i know of someone who didnt take amath in secondary sch and is taking
h2 math) but if u want to be sure u can always check out the schools' website to
check the pre-requisites for the different h2 subjs hope to see u in asr :)

If you can’t cope with amath, then the real question is whether you are able to
cope with H2 math. I think the more important question is to really ask yourself
whether h2 math is something that you are able to do well in

i was okay in amath like until I realised it wasn’t good enough for my l1r5 and I
stopped putting in effort for it. I think if I did more practice I could be aight.

hey! in sajc, you are allowed to take H2 Math with just EMath only. subject
requirements are not necessarily strict per se, but if you fail amath, please take
a lot of time to consider whether you are able to cope with H2 Math — it is a very
steep learning curve and requires a strong amath foundation!
but if you really are set on taking it, i believe the school will give the
combination to you 🙂
