Objective

To analyze the performance of a reaction turbine.

Procedure

Step 1:Apparatus set up for reaction turbine analysis

Step 2:Switch pump on to 100% pump setting until a steady flow rate is obtained.

Step 3: Vary the speed from approx. 4000 to approx. 10000rpm.


Five sets of readings to be taken at each speed interval.
