the f u e l c o n s u m p t i o n of a tractor i n g e n e r a l use.

DRAWBAR PERFORMANCE
A l l engine adjustments are the same as those used
i n the belt or p o w e r take-off tests.
V a r y i n g Power and F u e l Consumption W i t h Ballast.
T h e v a r y i n g p o w e r r u n s are m a d e to show the effects of
speed-control devices (engine, governor, a u t o m a t i c trans-
m i s s i o n , etc.) o n horsepower, speed a n d f u e l consump-
t i o n . T h e s e r u n s are m a d e a r o u n d the entire test course
w h i c h has two 180 degree t u r n s w i t h a m i n i m u m r a d i u s
of 50 feet. T h e d r a w t i a r p u l l is set at 4 different r u n s as
