A Qualitative Approach

Research Objectives

The intent of this single case study was to better describe and analyze the

perception of parents and teachers regarding the significance of parental involvement in

the early literacy development of kindergartens which is a critical aspect of early

childhood education. However, there is a need to explore and understand the

importance, challenges, behaviors and strategies that parents and kindergarten

teachers hold regarding parental involvement in the early literacy development, in order

to help young learners and enhance the knowledge of our educators and future

educators.
