Who we are
Conergy Global Investments Ltd is a wholly indigenous engineering, environmental and safety
consultancy service providers incorporated under the Companies and Allied Matters Act 1990 by
the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria as a Company with Limited Shares.

Vision
To be a focused Engineering, Construction, Maintenance and Business Provider Company in
Nigeria and gradually within the sub-regional areas with excellent professional competences in
the handling of “Engineering Designs, Construction, consultancy and installation of engineering
equipment, Facility Engineering Management Services,” above industry set benchmarks.

1.1 General: - The ability of a company to carry out satisfactorily does not only depend
on the age, physical assets base or the quantity of projects already handled, but also
to a large extent on her personnel proficiency and experience on similar projects.

CONERGY GLOBAL INVESTMENT prides in the cream of her experienced personnel


with proven track records of excellent performance in onshore and offshore
mechanical and electrical engineering and construction projects and maintenance
disciplines of petroleum and related industries.

The key management and project supervision personnel have appreciable long years
of field (i.e. onshore and offshore) work experience in engineering, fabrication &
construction, inspection and project management.

In addition we recruit our project personnel from reputable associates (including


technical partners) and consultant, professional bodies and association of acclaimed
standard and integrity are also patronized in this respect. Although it is the aspiration
of CONERGY GLOBAL to use indigenous personnel in the execution of her projects,
it is however pertinent that we employ a few expatriates (foreign nationals) to
execute projects requiring high technical professionalism and expertise. In carrying
out the above, CONERGY GLOBAL ensures that the Enterprises Promotion Decree i.e.
local content of labour is kept at as high as 70% to 30% from our foreign technical
partners.

CAREER SUMMARY The Managing Director, Mr. Olusegun Awodiji has over 18 yrs of
survey experience in the oil and gas industry. His
multidimensional activities over the years covers Survey,
Geophysics, SWING, Geotechnics, Hydrographic, GIS, contract
administration and contracts administration.
Mr. Awodiji is a registered surveyor and has attended several
Oil & Gas courses, seminars and Conferences covering all areas
of survey. Upon his appointed on Management Board of CSL in
2011, he was confirmed as Managing Director challenged with
the responsibility of directing company’s activities. Mr Awodiji
defines company targets, goals and dictates the pace for
company growth and development. He oversees all
offshore/land operations and is also very much in touch with the
day to day management of company technical operations, to
ensure continued client satisfaction and quality assurance.

Our confidence in successfully executing projects is attributable to our adequately equipped


office base and our state of the art equipment which we can mobilize at the short lead-time
advised by clients. The equipment utilized in the execution of our projects encompasses
those directly owned by CONERGY GLOBAL INVESTMENT and others that are easily
mobilized in the shortest possible time from our technical partners and consultants based
on a long standing alliance.

CONERGY GLOBAL INVESTMENT LIMITED is technologically fortified to provide her clients


in the Petroleum, marine and construction industries with survey/engineering expertise. To
compliment this expertise and provide our clients with leading edge technologies and
solutions, CONERGY GLOBAL INVESTMENT provides specialized technical know-how
through partnership and the use of standard and certified technology.

1.1 TECHNICAL STRATEGIES

Conceptual and Valuation Analysis: At the conceptual stage of a project, we determine the
technical and commercial feasibility. This is achieved through our expertise in such survey
& engineering consultancy areas as follows:

 Selection of the most suitable technology for the project


 Experience (of personnel) in implementing the project execution by first confirming
that the technology being selected is practicable.
 Ability to provide an accurate forecast based on limited information. A cost database
is essential in providing an accurate estimate.
 Consideration of relevant applicable standards in accordance with ISO requirements.

Various information from the above enable us recommend and supply standard process
technology, where applicable, to ensure that our clients receive the most up-to-date and
economic technology for their particular application. This is more so, as new technology is
often considered the key to the improvement of client return on investments.

Standard Publications and Process: CONERGY GLOBAL INVESTMENT continually keeps

is demonstrated in our strict reliance in survey, marine, engineering and technological

INVESTMENT Engineering solicits and advocates exchange of technological ideas and
support, or alliance basic with local and foreign acclaimed firms. This culminates in
technology transfers and training services as key element in our projects. Training is
received in all aspect of survey operations. Training in specific area of survey and
underwater operations which covers system development, seminars and workshop, and
hand - on instruction, are given in two (2) basic components:-

 On the job training in which case trainees are integrated in our project team under
the tutelage of an experienced person and
 Formal training in which personnel attend normal training courses conducted by
acclaimed local and foreign institutions for specific project purposes.

1.2 PROJECT EXECUTION STRATEGIES

In our quest to execute project satisfactorily, CONERGY GLOBAL INVESTMENT firstly defines
the expectations (i.e. set goals) for the respective clients. This is accomplished by
developing a project specific work plan which usually contains the items listed below:-

2.1 Basic Plan: This described planned system or method of which criteria are defined.

The following issues or items are considered in the basic work plan; introduction, scope of
work, project team development, communication, project control equipment, project
standards, technical design basic by discipline, procurement, construction management
quality assurance and safety .

(a) Introduction presents the purpose of the project in its completeness.

(b) Scope of work presents the original work area and requirements, and any envisaged
addendum/or variations.

(c) Project team development describes the purpose of, and the basic procedures for
preparing the key project personnel to forecast the challenges ahead in their various
technical and general perspectives.

(d) Communication describes the project organization and information dissemination linkage
between CONERGY GLOBAL INVESTMENT and the clients. It further describes the methods
and location of the storage and retrieval of vital information.

(e) Project control describes methods used to schedule, control and measure project
execution success.

(f) Engineering tools describe the software paper work technology facilities to be use, and
they shall be used to expedite action and improve on productivity.
(g) Project standards present the drawing, specifications, documents, database and
reference acclaimed codes.

(h) Technical design describes the facility to be designed and highlight their respective
technical discipline. It also lists the quality methods to be used on selected activities.

(i) Safety consideration covers systems or plan that provides guide aimed at achieving
incident free and accident free operation, and considers prevention and minimizing any
result effect should it happen.

2.2 Management and Supervision

(a) Project size:- CONERGY GLOBAL INVESTMENT has the ability to manage and execute
all sizes of projects (small or large scale), ranging from small projects of typically a few
hundred man - hours to large ones.

(b) Management Background: - With our present project management experience and
manpower (i.e. staff and associate) strength, we have the capability to perform several
man-hour of professional services per year. CSL can handle quite a wide range of project
size very successfully.

(c) Project reporting system:- CONERGY GLOBAL INVESTMENT meets the continuously
changing demands and variable of today's project through her computer - based
management system by providing up to date decision making information. Our project
accounting system reports both detailed and summarized labour and material cost. The
scheduling system provides critical path, precedence and progress information. The
corporate scheduling system provides total company personnel and project information. We
provide our clients with a comprehensive set of progress report for EPC activities, this is
usually tailored to meet the client's exact requirements.

(d) Project Management Activities: CONERGY GLOBAL INVESTMENT develops and


implement the following activities:-

 Supervision, co-ordination and quality control of her resources.


 Periodic reviews of her detailed activities including personnel appraisal.
 Upon award of contract, we prepare a project plan and schedule diagram which gives
a one-stop view of work load spread for the entire project.
 Development and maintenance of drawing list, specification index and equipment
list.
 Development of periodical progress report (mainly monthly) to include:- highlight of
period, progress, problem area etc.
 Co-ordination with and reporting to the clients project of progress meetings.
 Project estimates and manpower planning.

therefore maintains a database of Policies and Procedures including controlled documents
to guide all company’s operations in order to ensure delivery of memorable results while
preserving the environment where we work and promoting the health of all employees and
third parties.

These are communicated to all company’s employees and subcontractors upon


employments and reminded in regular meetings. CSL management and the line supervisors
