For our destination we plan to visit Zambales to experience its stunning

natural beauty and diverse activities. From the unique ash-colored sands of
Anawangin Cove to the thrilling surf at Crystal Beach, Zambales offers a
perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. The trek to Mt. Pinatubo promises
breathtaking views, while island hopping to Capones and Potipot Islands
provides a chance to explore pristine beaches. Additionally, immersing
ourselves in the local culture and history, such as visiting the Ramon
Magsaysay Museum, will enrich our trip. Overall, Zambales promises an
unforgettable escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

For our accommodation we choose to stay at Potipot Island because it is


ideal for a peaceful getaway, with options for camping and nearby resorts
and because it is a budget friendly

Here’s a rough estimate for a 2-day trip to Potipot Island, Zambales for 5
people starting from Sto. Tomas, Pangasinan:

Transportation

Bus fare (Sto. Tomas to Candelaria, Zambales): Around PHP 450 per person,
one way

Tricycle fare (Candelaria to Potipot Park N Boat): Approximately PHP 30 per


person

Boat fare to Potipot Island: PHP 400-500 per boat (max of 5 people) for a
round trip

Accommodation

Camping on Potipot Island: Entrance fee around PHP 100 per person

Nearby resorts: PHP 1,500-2,000 per night per room3. For 5 people, you
might need 2 rooms, so around PHP 4,000 for two nights.
Food

Meals: PHP 500 per person per day. For 5 people, this would be around PHP
5,000 for two days.
