to do so. Write about one of the most popular festivals in Vietnam Due to its rich culture, Vietnam has a lot of festival and some of these are famous around the world. Among these well-known festival, Tet holiday is the most popular. Tet, which is also known as Lunar New Year, is a holiday when people celebrate and hope for a new year with happiness and luck. Vietnamese people often spend a week preparing for Tet since it is one of the biggest and most important holiday. People need to clean and decorate their house as they believe that the God of Fortune might visit their houses and bring them proverty and luck. During the holiday, there are a lot of acitvities that are traditional. For example, adults often give their children and elderly people lucky money since it presents for luck and good health. People also visit their relatives’ houses to give them wishes. Moreover, Vietnamese usually go to pagodas or temples to pray for good luck and happiness. To Vietnamese, Tet is a good opportunity for family memebers to gather and share their emotions to each other. In my opinion, Tet is a meaningful, important holiday.
