EASYCONNECT MPX 100


BYOM AV SWITCHING DEVICE AND PORT EXPANDER

The EasyConnect MPX 100 effortlessly adds BYOM calls to UC rooms. The MPX 100 is an easy-to-use AV
Switcher for BYOM designed for conference rooms equipped with a dedicated UC room system, such as
Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms, but from which a user occasionally needs to use an alternate UC
platform. When a user needs to use an alternate UC platform, they simply connect a laptop to the MPX 100
via a USB and HDMI cable pair, and it will automatically switch away from the primary UC compute and
connect the BYOM laptop to the in-room AV peripherals. As soon as the user disconnects the USB and
HDMI cable pair, the MPX 100 switches the room peripherals back to the dedicated UC room compute.

EasyConnect MPX 100 provides simple connectivity with no drivers required. The MPX 100 is SageVue
compatible, offers passthrough to other Biamp AV solutions, and enables firmware updates on connected
devices. The MPX 100 also includes extra USB ports for cameras, microphones, or touchscreens; HDMI 2.0
for displays up to 4K resolution; and up to 4K camera support.

ARCHITECTS & ENGINEERS SPECIFICATIONS


The AV Switcher for BYOM shall be designed to mount behind a display or under a conference table. The AV
Switcher for BYOM shall accept video and data signals from an in-room UC Compute via an HDMI 2.0 port and
a USB 3.0 Type B port. The AV Switcher for BYOM shall accept video and data signals from a user laptop via an
HDMI 2.0 port and a USB 3.0 Type B port. The AV Switcher shall enable network connectivity via a Gigabit ethernet
port and support communication protocols to be compatible with the Biamp SageVue software application for
monitoring and updating Parlé VBC 2500/2500a video conferencing bar. The AV Switcher for BYOM shall include a
USB 3.0 Type C port with sufficient Power Delivery to support a Parlé ABC 2500/2500a, or Parlé VBC 2500/2500a
video conferencing bar. The AV Switcher for BYOM shall have three additional USB 3.0 Type A ports for connecting
to in-room peripheral devices. The AV Switcher for BYOM shall be CE marked, UL and cUL listed, and shall be
compliant with the RoHS directive. Warranty shall be five years. The AV Switcher for BYOM shall be Biamp
EasyConnect MPX 100.
