plan to affect the organizational development and reflectiveness.
- To formulate an effective school plan, we have to determine its vision to
set as guide in the improvement of the school. Provided with the data
from the schools priority improvement areas, school head may identify
solutions to solve the existing problems. Through this, greater level of
efficiency will be developed within the organization. Achieving the goals
set will be easy and effortless.
2. Discuss the application of competency based curriculum in your
respective setting in order to enhance the performance of the
learners.
- Anchored with the Sulong Edukalidad framework, Department of
Education aims to develop holistic Filipino learners with 21 st century skills.
Using the competency- based curriculum helps us teachers focus on the
topics that are needed to be taught to our pupils. It also helps us develop
interventions in addressing learning gaps. It lessens teachers’ workload in
teaching bunch of lessons one at a time.
3. What are the limitations and advantages of Distance Education?
- Due to ambiguous impact of COVID- 19, all of the schools undergone
distance learning for two school years. Teaching in the mountainous area,
this situation gave us lots of disadvantages. We encountered different
learning gaps like poor reading and comprehension level, and low
academic performance. Beyond these gaps, teachers are flexible so we
did our best to help our pupils learn the most possible way.
4. Discuss briefly the importance of educational facilities as an
indispensable component of both elementary and secondary schools.
- School facilities improve the quality of the study environment in the
school. A good school facility helps determine the success of students and
effectiveness of teacher’s lesson. As a future school leader, I will ensure
that the school facilities are conducive for learning. Moreover, the
equipment and the learning materials are efficient and ready to use by the
learners. Through continuous improvements and innovations in school
facilities, the learning environment will become more interactive and
conducive for learners and teachers will be better prepared to adapt to
the changing education requirements of the 21st century learners.
5. Discuss other sources of funds, which will help finance public
educational facilities.
- Other school funds come from Parent-Teacher Association (PTA),
Canteens, fundraising, Income Generating Projects (IGP), donations and
feeding budget. Effective utilization of financial resources is the
systematic way of ensuring an organization to run efficiently within
allotted budget. MOOE, SEF, and other sources of fund play a big part in
developing teachers professionally and improving the academic
performance of the pupils, improvement of physical facilities, and other
school activities. In achieving all of these, proper utilization of financial
resources.

6. Efficiency and effectiveness are two interrelated terms in


administration and supervision. When and how one can be an
efficient and effective leader of a school system?
- Efficient and effective school leaders should share same goal with their
teachers. They should set as good examples and influence to their
subordinates. A good leader should always promote unity in achieving
school goals. He or she should be open for correction and opinion of
others for the betterment of the organization. Efficient and effective
leaders should know how to trust their subordinates in decision making.
Most importantly, good leaders should know how to help teachers in
improving learners’ academic performance.
7. Explain how important is the actual plan mapping in having specific
school site and as location.
- School Mapping is a dynamic process of planning the distribution, size and
spacing of schools and physical facilities requirements for optimum
utilization and benefit. It aims to address the deficiency in the educational
system. School mapping establish the strategic location of educational
facilities to enhance easy access and effective usage by people of
particular community. School mapping is a conscious effort to locate
educational facilities in a place for maximum utilization by targeted
population to their own advantage.
8. Explain the application of planning management by objectives in
your school on how to improve the delivery of educational recipient
to the clients.
- Management by objectives is a method where school head and teachers
identify common goal, identify each area of specialization and use these
for the improvement of the school. In this manner, school organization will
be united in improving each aspect of it.

continuous process to must emerging needs.
- Educational Planning is important because it aids in the identification of
educational goals and objectives. It varies depending on the needs of the
learners that is the reason why educational planning should be taught and
established as a continuous process.

1. What is the difference between manager and leader?
- Leadership is helping people understand and believe in your vision to
achieve your goals while managing is more about administering and
making sure the day-to-day things are happening as they should. When
you want your employees to be more productive, you have to know which
role is best suited to get them there. Managing is more about
maintenance like keeping a well-oiled machine going. However, when
individual employees are in need of new energy and a boost to morale
that is leading.
2. Explain the principles of school governance.
- School governance deals with the leadership of the school head to
manage schools in ensuring its sustainability and continuity. Collective
Participation, Accountability, Transparency and Integrity are the principles
of school governance. Schools can be effective in achieving its goals
following these principles.

- The salient features of K to 12 are Strengthening Early Childhood, Making
the Curriculum Relevant to the Learners, Ensuring Integrated and
Seamless Learning, and Building Proficiency through Language (Mother
Tongue- Based Multilingual Education), Gearing Up for the Future (Senior
High School), and Nurturing the Holistically Developed Filipino (College
and Livelihood Readiness, let Century Skills).
- Every Filipino can access to education through Kindergarten. At the age of
5 children start schooling so they can slowly adjust to formal education.
Education for children in the early years lays the foundation for lifelong
learning and for the total development of a child. In the notion popularized
by John Locke, human mind receives knowledge and forms itself based on
experience alone. At their early age, children’s mind can learn faster
because they don’t know that much.

2. How are you going to manage your different resources like MOOE,
SEF, and canteen resources?
- Financial resources are the most influential tools to improve both school’s
physical and human resources. As a school head, I will effectively utilize
the resources following the guidelines of DEPED Order no. 13 s. 2016. I
will ensure that it is used for the procurement of materials and equipment
that will ensure the welfare of the learners.

3. What is the significant of long-term planning in the educational setting?


- Having a long-term plan helps teachers develop a vision of what they
want their students to achieve. To promote quality learning, teachers
create plans to visualize the learning they want their learners to learners.
Teachers also prepare a plan to enlist intervention plans to address gaps
that will occur during the process.

- Education cannot be divorced from the economic, political and social
realities of a country. Any society in order to progress economically, must

- In essence, strategic planning is the process of setting goals, deciding on
actions to achieve those goals, and mobilizing the resources needed to

through the use of available resources. Strategic planning guides
educators by giving a common vision and shared priorities. This will lead
to providing better quality of education.
6. What challenges need to be addressed to foster learner success and
retention in an online environment?
- Online learning has been very helpful during the pandemic to learners and
teachers to communicate. It became the best alternative for education to
continue. Despite this, they’ve encountered a lot of challenges in using
this modality. I think the technical issues like very poor network reception
should be addressed. Learners of this generation are very exposed to the
digital world. Using gadgets may not be very hard for them if they have
good internet connection on their areas.

7. Why are the school administrators and curriculum managers important to


curriculum implementation?
- School Administrators serve as leaders in shaping a vision of academic
success for the learners. They lead in creating a safe environment for
learning. School heads play a major role in developing, organizing,
implementing and evaluating school curriculum to ensure that it will meet
all the student needs. They also make sure that learners have materials
needed for their everyday learning. And most importantly, they plan for
the improvement of the school, teachers and learners.

8. What are the major functions of administration and supervision?


- Administration and supervision’s roles are the following:
a. Planning of school programs and activities; budget preparation.
b. Directing school work and formulating and executing educational
policies.
c. Coordinating administrative and supervisory activities.
d. Providing the necessary leadership.
e. Evaluating the teaching personnel and school program.
f. Keeping records and reporting results.

9. What is constructive alignment and how does it differ from traditional


teaching and assessment?
- Constructive alignment is an outcomes-based approach to teaching. It
focuses on what and how students learn, rather than on the topic the
teacher teaches. In constructive alignment, learners are the facilitators of
learning. They can manage how they will learn a certain skill. Unlike in
traditional teaching that teachers spoon feed the learners with what they
want them to learn. Traditional teaching is teacher- centered while
outcome- based teaching is learner- centered.
