Topic5:What do you think about fashion

today? Should students wear casual

clothes to school? Why/why not
Today, I’d like to share my thoughts on moder
n fashion and whether students should wear
casual clothes to school. Fashion today is incr
edibly diverse and ever-changing. It’s not jus
t about how we dress, but also how we expre
ss our personality and outlook on life. Everyo
ne has their own style, from casual clothes lik
e hoodies and jeans to bold and colorful outfi
ts. The beauty of modern fashion lies in how f
reely it allows us to express ourselves.
Now, when we look at the school
environment, I believe uniforms are a better
choice. There are strong reasons why
uniforms might be preferable. First, one of
the biggest advantages of school uniforms is
that they create a sense of equality among
students. When all students wear the same cl
othes, there is no distinction between studen
ts from wealthy families and those with less
means. This creates a fair environment where
students don’t feel pressured to wear expens
ive or fashionable clothes to fit in, allowing t
hem to focus on their studies and personal gr
owth.
Second, uniforms foster unity and cohesion w
ithin the school. When students all wear the
same outfit, they feel like part of a group. Thi
s strengthens the sense of belonging and res
ponsibility to the school and peers.
Third, uniforms serve as the "brand" of each
school. Each school has its own unique unifor
m, making it easy to identify students and gi
ving them a sense of pride in representing th
eir school. When people see a student in a sc
hool uniform, they immediately know where t
hey belong. There’s also a lesson in discipline
that comes with wearing a uniform. Many
argue that uniforms teach students about the
importance of dressing appropriately and
respecting the context they’re in. This sense
of discipline and professionalism can prepare
students for the expectations they may face
in future workplaces, where certain
standards of dress are often required.(Ý này có

However, uniforms do have a small downside.

Some materials used to make uniforms can b
e uncomfortable. Certain fabrics aren’t breat
hable, causing discomfort, especially in hot w
eather. This can affect students' comfort and
well-being during the day.
In conclusion, although uniforms may have so
me minor drawbacks, I believe they are still t
he best choice in a school environment. Unifo
rms not only give students confidence but als
o create a level playing field, fostering unity
and focusing on the main goal—education.
