A. Activity Use a PowerPoint presentation or a video clip summarizing Buddha's life, including
key events such as his birth as Siddhartha Gautama, his life of luxury, the Four
Sights (old age, sickness, death, and a religious ascetic), and his quest for
enlightenment.

B. Analysis Facilitate a class discussion where students analyze how the Four Noble Truths and
the Eightfold Path can be applied to modern life. Encourage them to think critically
about their experiences and how these teachings might help address personal or
societal issues.
C. Abstraction Guide students to abstract the teachings of Buddha into broader philosophical
concepts. Discuss the nature of suffering, the importance of mindfulness, and the role
of ethical living in achieving peace and happiness. Encourage students to relate these
concepts to their own beliefs or philosophies.
D. Application Present students with a real-life scenario: "Imagine a friend is struggling with stress
and anxiety due to academic pressures. How would you apply the Four Noble Truths
and the Eightfold Path to help them?" Ask students to write a short paragraph
outlining their approach based on the teachings they learned.
IV. Evaluation 1. What are the Four Noble Truths?
Answer: The truths are: 1) Life is suffering (Dukkha), 2) The cause of
suffering is desire (Tanha), 3) Suffering can be overcome (Nirvana), 4) The
path to overcome suffering is the Eightfold Path.

Answer: The Eightfold Path consists of Right Understanding, Right Intent,
Right Speech, Right Action, Right Livelihood, Right Effort, Right
Mindfulness, and Right Concentration.

V. Assignment Organize a debate on whether the teachings of Buddhism can be effectively applied
