A. Preliminary Activities
The teacher should:
• Greet the class;
• Ask them to pick up all the trash they can find beneath or around their
chairs;
• Call a student to lead the prayer;
• Observe safety health measures; and

1. Ask the students to discuss their approach when solving problems.
2. Have them relate the concept of holistic thinking to understanding and
solving problems.
3. Let the students differentiate between holistic and partial thinking.
