SECTION - A
1. Answer any five sub questions. Each sub question carries three marks.

a) State the rights under Consumer Protection Act.

b) How a company will be incorporated as per new companies Act 2013?

c) High light the importance of Indemnity and Guarantee.

d) State the rights of an unpaid seller.

e) State the importance of appellate tribunal in Cyber Crime.

f) What is contract of Bailment?

g) State the formalities to register a copy right in India.

2. Discuss the nature of crimes listed under Cyber Act and Penalties proposed under
Information Technology Act 2000.

3. Discuss the rules regarding the liability of parties to negotiate instruments.

8. Explain the provisions of Health and Safety Measures.
9. What constitutes intellectual property rights? Explain its importance in the present
scenario.
10. Explain the meaning and importance of prospectus. What legal consequences flow
from misrepresentation contained in a prospectus proposed in Companies Act
2013?
11. Discuss the essentials of contract of sale under the sale of Goods Act of 1930.
12. Explain the contract of ‘Indemnity’. Describe the rights of Idemnity and Indemnity
holder.

SECTION - D
13. Case Study. (Compulsory) [1 × 15 = 15]
MKS Ltd. was registered with the Registrar of Companies, Bangalore on 15th
December 2015. The Registrar of Companies, Mumbai also registered on 10th
January 2016, a company with the same name. On coming to know this, the first
registered company wants to prevent the company subsequently registered from
continuing with the same name. Advise suitably to both the parties.


