    ENGINEERING DRAWING
    (Common to IT, CSE(AI & ML), CSE(DS), CSE(IoT), CSE(AI), AI&DS, AI&ML, CS&IT, ME and FT)
    Time: 3 hours Max. Marks: 70
    (Answer all the questions: 05 X 14 = 70 Marks)
    Assume any missing data appropriately.

    1 Construct a Parabola when the distance between the focus and directrix is 30 mm. 14M
    OR
    2 A circle of 50 mm diameter rolls on a straight line without slipping. Trace the locus of a point 'P' 14M
    on the circumference of the circle rolling for one revolution. Name the curve.

    3 A line AB 80 mm long has its end a 20 mm above HP and 25 mm in front of VP. The line is 14M
    inclined at 45° to HP and 35° to VP. Draw its projections.
    OR
    4 A square plane ABCD of side 30, is parallel to H.P and 20 away from it. Draw the projections of 14M
    the plane, when two of its sides are (i) parallel to V.P and (ii) inclined at 30° to V.P.

    5 A Hexagonal prism of base side 30 mm, axis length 60 mm is resting on HP on one of its base 14M
    sides with its axis inclined at 40° to HP and parallel to VP. Draw its projections.
    OR
    6 Draw the projections of a Square pyramid of base side 30 mm, axis length 60 mm resting on the 14M
    HP on one of its base edges with its axis is making 30° to HP.

    7 A hexagonal pyramid side of base 30 mm and axis height 70 mm rests with its base on HP and 14M
    with a side of base parallel to VP. It is cut by a section plane inclined at 35° to HP and
    perpendicular to VP and bisecting the axis. Draw the projections of the cut solid and true shape
    of the section.
    OR
    8 A cube of 35 mm long edges is resting on the H.P. on one of its faces with a vertical face 14M
    inclined at 30° to the V.P. It is cut by a section plane parallel to the V.P. and 9 mm away from
    the axis and further away from the V.P. Draw its sectional front view and the top view.

    9 A square prism of side of 40 mm and axis 80 mm long, is resting on its base on H.P., such that, 14M
    a rectangular face of it is parallel to V.P. Draw the development of the prism.
    OR
    10 Draw the lateral development of a triangular pyramid of base 35 mm and axis 50 mm. 14M
