INTRODUCTION TO MENTAL HEALTH

Lets begin with introduction to Mental health. Lets not make it complicated and understand it in
simple and easy peasy words!

Mental health is very sensitive thing in our lives and a sensitive topic to talk about. BUT WHY?
Because it is indirectly connected with our all relationships, physical health and most important
our peace!!. BUT WHAT IT IS ACTUALLY AND DOES IT AFFECT OUR LIVES??
Mental health is a person's social, physcological and emotional well being. It affects on a person
that how they think, feel, behave with others. It influences that how a person handle a stressful
situation and how a person deals with emotional draining situation.

Why it is important and how does it affect our lifestyle??

Mental health is very important because it is indirectly connected with our whole lifestyle, for
example, how we think, how we feel, what we eat , how we deal with stress or any stress full
situation, and how do we make our important life decisions. These all factors are dependent on
mental health.
Mental health is also connected with our physical health. Let me tell you how. lets Start with an
example, imagine there is a girl named "Sarah". She is a hard working women in her late 20's.
She work in an IT field, where her colleagues and co workers are very rude and they give all the
work load to sarah. And Sarah dont question them and give all stress to her. Because of this
busy lifestyle sarah wasn't able to get time for herself or her family. She was at work all day and
night. Because of this much stress she got an severe migraine, from which she wasn't able to
work or even make meals for her. For so many days due to severe migraine she ate packaged
food which gave her upset stomach. Due to this much stress she wasn't able to even get up
from her bed. For so many days she was on her bed and later got admitted in hospital. This all
was due to stress which gave her migraine and drained all her energy.
Why i gave you this example, owing to the fact that how much mental health is important and
how much does it cost if you didn't look after it.

How to deal with it??

If you're facing any kind of stress, share it . Tell your close friends or any family member that
which specific thing is giving you stress. Ask them from advice. Since you tell them your heart
and mind will set at ease and you will be able to focus on your life again. No worries if you don't
have any person. Write it all down in any notebook or any page. And if you're afraid that
someone might read it , then write down on any paper and burn it down. Iam telling you this
from my personal experience and it has helped me alot.

getting effected by it since every third to fourth patient of mental illness is a teenager.

Depression and anxiety disorders are so common in our youth now a days. Every single child is
suffering from it and they are not even getting treated. If a child go to their parents or any person
they just say that its normal and leave the child in the dark cave of illness ( not every parents but
some). And because of this non serious attitude children are forced to take their lives because
they haven't gotten any choice left . Most sucide in our society is from 15 to 21 aged people.

SOCIETAL IMPACT!!!

departments are so burdenise. and also due to mental illness many people develop diabetes

Many youngsters who suffer from these problems dont share with anyone because they are
afraid that they might get judged. And because of this fear of being judged they cut off
