Executive Summary

During my internship tenure of 45 days in Aura Foods, I actively contributed to
various projects and exhibited proficiency in a range of tasks assigned by my
managers. My internship was focused on the data mining of the information since
it was a start-up organisation. In the first few days my primary role was to collect,
analyse the information, and prepare a table full of data of the consignors who
were interested in buying dehydrated vegetable products such as onions, garlics,
and other organic products in different forms. This internship helped me to arrange
data in excel sheets with the order list of different countries for efficient
presentation and accurate analysis.

After the arrangement of the previously collected data, I was given the opportunity
to research and collect the data for new promising prospects as well as new
business opportunities around the world. With the help of various social media
such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and other official sites, I was able to connect new
clients from various business houses who were interested in buying the said
products. Aura Foods further helped me in understanding the working of social
networking sites and as to use them to attract and contact the established
businesses to refer to our promising products.

As an intern I collected the contact details such as contact number, email address
as well as their social networking sites such as LinkedIn profile of Supply Chain
Managers, Logistical head or Inventory Managers of the new business who were
interested in buying our products. I also had an opportunity to have a conversation
with prominent people of various organisations regarding our products through
emails. With the help of Aura Foods, I understood the back-end roles and
responsibilities of the data mining of the products.

During my internship I understood the importance of time management, and how

it should be managed as it significantly impacts the overall effectiveness of the
business. Considering my role as a college student, the timing at Aura Foods was
particularly fitting for me, ensuring I would work optimally without disrupting my
academic responsibilities.

I also engaged into the marketing field with the help of Canva and Microsoft
PowerPoint presentation by preparing a numerous detailed presentations for our
interested buyers which further enriched my understanding and its importance in

the business world. I also attached the presentation in the emails for the business
to have a glance about our products. The above skill sets not only honed my
technical skills but also helped to develop an interest in the data mining and its
fundamentals.

For me collaboration and communication were a cornerstone among the

teammates at Aura Foods. I got to learn not only by my manager but also by my
co-workers. I was able to quickly adapt to new challenges and criticism and
navigated them to an optimistic approach. My keen sense of learning new things
and committing to them helped me to achieve my project and organisation goals
with an ease.

The internship not only enhanced my technical skills but also provided valuable
insights into potential of data mining and helped me to understand meaningful
patterns and knowledge from large data sets. Throughout my internship I received
positive feedbacks from my manager and my co-workers. The experience I shared
at Aura Foods not only made me realise about my positives but also tried to wane
out my negatives or my challenges.

I am sincerely grateful for the invaluable opportunity to serve as an intern at Aura

Foods. It has been an inspiring and fruitful experience that has helped me in
professional area and been a journey of personal growth. The inclusive culture at
Aura Foods has not only made my work fruitful but also created a sense of
belongingness within just 45 days and that I will forever carry and cherish.
