Rules And Regulations


School Timings and attendance of students:
1. Managements Instructions for the extracurricular activities must be strictly followed in spirit by
all the students and the teachers. Any deviation/misbehaviour in this regard will be penalised.
2. The school may have to change timings on certain occasions such as unit tests, semester
examination, S.S.C. examination etc. and shall intimate the students well in advance.
3. For the Academic year - 2024 - 2025, the timing of the school is 9 am to 2: 35pm. There will be
periods of thirty-five minutes and two recesses of twenty minutes each.
4. The Students should regularly attend the school.
5. The students should be present in their respective classes at least ten minutes before the
assembly begins and immediately after the recess is over. Late arrivals in these cases are
liable for action.
6. The students are strictly forbidden to leave the school premises during school hours. No
permission shall be granted, except for genuine reasons, arising out of emergency, to go home.
In such cases either of the parent or the guardian should collect their ward from the school and
only upon permission being granted by the Principal shall any student be allowed to leave.
7. 75% attendance per term is compulsory for each student and in the absence of which the
student shall be prohibited from attending the final examination according to Secondary School
Code.
8. If a student is not fulfilling the criteria of attendance, as mentioned above, on account of
medical reasons, then it will be considered up to the limit of 60%. In such cases, medical
certificates from registered practitioners, stating the nature of the sickness and subsequent
period of absence that is required to recover should be submitted in the school. If the student is
going to appear for S.S.C. examination, such a case will be referred to the S.S.C. board and its
decision will remain binding on the parents.
9. If a student is representing the school at district, state or national level in sports –competitions
conducted by Sports Authority of India or any other organisation which is recognized by
Government of Maharashtra or Government of India, then his/her absence in the school for the
said number of days shall be counted for calculating his/her attendance in the school.
10. Parents shall be informed about the attendance of their ward in each quarter of the academic
year and they should contact the class teacher in case of any query.
Absence:
1. If a student is sick, he/she should not be sent to the school. In such cases the school shall not
bear the responsibility for being unable to identify/notice the sickness and/or for providing
medical aid.
2. If a student wishes to remain absent in the school for reasons known to him/her, he/she should
submit an application prior to his leave of absence from his/her parent requesting the school
authorities to permit him/her to remain absent. The school has the right to deny the permission,
if not convinced.
3. If a student remains absent in the school due to reason arising out of emergency then he/she
should submit the leave application duly signed by parents as soon as he/she resumes the
school.
4. If the period of absence is going to be more than 3 working days in case of reasons arising out
of emergency, then the parents are requested to inform the school over the telephone before
those 3 days is over. Leave application should be submitted as mentioned above.
5. If a student remains absent without seeking permission of the school for reasons known to
him/her or fails to submit a leave application in case of reasons arising out of emergency,
he/she is liable for action. Any student absent for more than 7 days without prior permission
shall have his/her name struck off from the register.
6. The school shall consider the case of a student remaining absent in the school without seeking
permission for reasons known to him/her or failing to submit leave application from parents, for
reasons arising out of emergency, as disobedience, and will take action each time. If the same
behaviour is repeated more than three times then the school shall call upon parents to explain
the same. If there is no improvement in the behaviour even after that, the school has the right
to ask the child to leave the school by considering the case as the case of habitual
absenteeism.

School Examination Pattern


Two semester exams and two periodic tests are conducted throughout the year. The first
semester exam is held in October, and the second semester exam takes place in April. The marks
obtained in both semester exams are combined in the final result to determine whether the student is
promoted to the next class.

School Assembly Elections


The school conducts elections every year to select the Head Boy and Head Girl.
Representatives from each class vote to choose the Head Boy and Head Girl, who will be responsible
for ensuring the smooth functioning of all events and programs in the school.

House System
Classes from I to XII are divided into four houses to instil the significance of competition in
students. Each house is assigned a teacher in-charge and a student captain. This fosters a spirit of
competition among both students and teachers, promoting teamwork and the value of healthy
competition. The house captain is responsible for ensuring that every student in their house has the
opportunity to showcase their talents, ensuring no student is left behind due to any unnecessary
reasons. The Head Boy and Head Girl oversee the functioning of each house and ensure that the
school's dignity and decorum are maintained.

School Uniform
 It is compulsory to every student to come to school wearing complete school uniform daily and
for every school events.
Uniform for KG boys - Red T-shirt, grey dungaree pants, socks & black school shoes
Uniform for KG girls - Red T- shirt, grey pinafore frock, socks & black school shoes
For Primary and Secondary Boys – navy blue Pants, light blue lining shirt, tie, belt, socks,
shoes
For Primary and secondary Girls – navy blue pinafore frock, a light blue lined shirt, a tie, a
belt, socks, and black school shoes.
 A child wearing colour other than school uniform will not be allowed in school.
 Personal hygiene is of utmost importance. Every student must come to school neat and clean.
 Nails should be kept short, and both boys and girls should apply oil to their hair.
 Boys' hair should be cut short, while girls with long hair should tie it in two braids or a ponytail.
For girls with short hair, a blue hair belt may be worn.
 Students are not allowed to wear smart watches, nail paint, or any form of art on their hands.
Additionally, gold ornaments are not permitted in school.

School Assembly
School assembly is conducted every day at 09:00am to 09:25am. School assembly starts with
school Anthem followed by pledge. Every day one student reads thought of the day. One short story is
told by students every day. One student reads headlines. Assembly ends with National Anthem.

Attendance
80% Attendance is compulsory in school. Students with less than 80% attendance will not be
allowed to appear in exam. Any student who remain absent during the exam will not be eligible for a re
exam. The absence will be recorded as such in their records. If any student remains absent from the
school for more than 5 days without prior intimation, their name shall be struck off from the attendance
register. The school retains the right to re-admission in such cases.
