    Baby Axolotl, Heart, and Boba Drink

    Crochet pattern by CrochetGrove

    Skills Required
    Surface Sc, Magic circle, Single crochet,
    Invisible decrease, Bobble stitch, Puff stitch, Color changing, Increase.
    -If you are unfamiliar with any of these skills, there are tons of very
    helpful youtube videos to help you!

    Abbreviations
    MR- magic ring
    SC- single crochet
    DEC- decrease
    BO- bobble stitch
    FLO- front loop only
    FO- fasten off
    CH- chain
    PUF- Puff stitch
    INC- increase

    Materials
    Yarn (You can use any kind you would like however I am using Premier
    Parfait Chunky)
    Crochet Hook
    Stitch Markers
    Yarn Needle
    Stuffing
    Safety eyes or felt eyes
    Scissors
    Felt to cut out a mouth if you would like!

    With Parfait Chunky I use a 4.5mm hook and 10mm for the baby.

    R5 5sc, color change to gill color,
    (sc, ch3, 2sc down the chain)x3,
    color change back to body color, 4sc
    (sc, ch3, 2sc down the chain)x3,
    color change back to body color, 3sc

    Insert eyes between round 2 and 3.
    Push gills forwards so that they will be sticking out when
    crocheting around them.

    *TIP- Don't do invisible decreases; it will make it a lot easier working around the gill with
    regular decreases!

    R13 sc, BOB, 3sc, BOB, 12sc (18)
    Stuff the body.
    R14 (sc,dec)x6 (12)
    R15-16 sc around (2 rounds) (12)

    Finish stuffing and FO. Weave in the end.

    Spine down the back-


    Attach the spine color in the center of the back behind the head.
    Surface sc down the back and around the tail. Weave in ends.

    Starting from the bottom
    R1 MR 8sc (8)
    R2 (inc)x8 (16)
    R3 sc around (16)
    R4 (2sc, Color change to boba color, puf) x5, sc (16)

    Color change to white.

    Stuff now.

    FO. If you would like to have your axolotl holding the boba, leave
    a long enough tail to sew it onto the arms.
    Straw
    Ch4, sc in the second chain from the hook, sc in the last. FO.
    leave a tail to sew onto the boba.
