DATE August 21, 2024

Dear Parents and Students,

Greetings of Fortitude, Excellence, Uprightness & Resilience!
As we begin another academic year, we want to ensure that our students have the best learning environment
that balances academic requirements with their well-being.
Over the past two years, we have observed the demands of how the workload, especially for our senior
students. Our Grade 11, has 11 subjects which often leads to overwhelming stress, impacting our young
learners' mental and physical health. In Grade 12, the pressure intensifies with numerous research/thesis
activities and community engagement that are essential in the curriculum but can also quite challenging to
manage.
We care and think about the well-being of our students, and we are committed to ensuring they thrive
academically and holistically. After much reflection and discussion, we have decided to implement a Blended
Learning Modality for this school year starting on August 27, 2024, Tuesday. Below is the schedule and what
this means for your child:
Grade Level & Time ONSITE Class Schedule Online Class Schedule
Grade 11: (7 am to 4 pm) Monday , Tuesday & Thursday Wednesday & Friday
Grade 12:
Monday: 12:45 to 6:00 pm Monday, Wednesday & Friday Tuesday & Thursday
Tues – Friday : 7 am to 1:45 pm
• Three Days of Onsite Classes: On these days, students will come to campus, where they can engage in
face-to-face learning, participate in hands-on activities, and benefit from the direct support of their
teachers and peers. We believe these interactions are vital for their social and academic development.
• Two Days of Online Classes: This setup is still designed to hold a regular class schedule through the
TEAMS Meeting link. This gives students the time they need to manage their assignments and delve
deeper into research and other activities—without the added stress of daily commuting or traveling.
Our goal with this blended approach is to provide a more balanced and sustainable learning experience.
We believe it will help our students manage their time better, reduce stress, and maintain their enthusiasm
for learning.
Your support is invaluable as we make this transition. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not
hesitate to reach out through your class advisers or call the principal’s office
Thank you for your continued trust and partnership. Let’s make this academic year an enriching experience for
all. God bless everyone.

Sincerely yours,
Susan V. Torres
Principal
